Excellent for my San Francisco commute.
Very good for my everyday commute from Berkeley to downtown San Francisco.
Jacket is not super hot but I never felt cold too, around 50 degrees + wind was my limit, I felt like I would need some under layer if it gets a little colder.
In the warm weather you can open the air flow zippers etc... it's not made for a hot weather, you'll be sweating in minutes!
Never fell on it but protection feels good.
After 3 months it feels less stiff and much more comfortable.

Use: commute everyday (around 12 miles each way)

Liking the jacket so far but havent broken it in yet.
I'm 6 ft 175 lbs and I purchased the large to accommodate my longer arms. A bit of excess material on the front side (around the stomach) of the jacket when your leaned forward. Also the jacket tends to pull towards your back so your neck can get a little tight especially if you button the collar. I haven't ridden without the back protector to see it this would remedy the tightness around the neck. Also I've only wore it a handful of times so it should get better as it breaks in. Lastly the pocket vent button digs in your chest if your down on your tank but you can unbutton it and it's not an issue.

Great overall
Jacket fits great. Sizes are more accurate not tight fitting. More coverage on lower back. Doesn't ride up your back. Very comfortable to wear. It's not stiff. Removable liner is warm. Vents work great lots of air flow. Looks better "in person " then in pictures.

Great sub $200 jacket: plan to use for all seasons
Fit: I got the size small has the waist that is compatible to met (28-30). Has waist adjustment which is a plus. Fits perfectly around my waist and arms (has arm size adjustment too). Only downside is the sides are wide but not funky wide. This could be a positive aspect in a way; it makes me look like a huge muscular guy when I am quite slim.

Style: Great for the motorcycle look, but for the street can be quite too obvious as a rider jacket due to the protruding shoulder armor. If you take out all the armor in the jacket, it should look fine for street.

Protection: Textile so one time use only..

Features: outside access to shoulder and elbow armor. Back inserted internally. Liner is removable.

Air flow: after removing liner and opening vent pockets, jacket has great air flow and is moisture-wicking. It does not get too hot when walking around in hot day. For me, it is tolerable but usually be better to take it off and put it in a duffle bag or something.

Amazing jacket. No issues so far, no broken zips or buttons, nor ripped velcros.

For this price..worth
My initial thought to purchasing this jacket from is just for the convenience when it's slightly drizzling outside, and I wanted to stop by somewhere close for food, etc., I can just pop this on and head out.

I've also worn this jacket with the SPIDI Superstorm H2Out pants in heavy rain, and I was completely dry. This totally beats the waterproof onesies I've been wearing in the past.

Would definitely recommend if you're looking for some affordable jacket that still offers some protection for riding in the rain.

Good looking
This will be short. just got the jacket today. Good looking. fits great. I just got a Honda NC700X. Had a Harley. But can not wear a Harley jacket on a Honda. Was shock I found the Honda jacket.
Will write more after I have a chance to wear on the bike. But first it needs to stop raining so much.
Again Great looking and very comfortable.

AMAZING Jacket!
Got it about two months ago and I love it. The armor on it is tough but is lightweight enough that it doesn't weigh you down too much. It's extremely comfortable, and I've used it only as a summer jacket so far but I'm confident it will be a great winter jacket also. I highly recommend!

Great Beginner Protection
This was my first jacket. When I got it out of the box, I couldn't stop going in front of the mirror and looking at myself in it. It really looks sharp, very stylish for semi-upright which is how my VFR800 rides. The back protector could be a little more substantial, but the elbow armor is articulated and seems like it would stay put in a get-off at speed. The fit is perfect for me. I got the 3x and I am 6' 300 lbs semi-muscular build. I could wear a thicker base layer underneath and still be comfortable. I don't get cold easily, so results may vary, but I've ridden with a fleece underneath in 25 degrees here in central PA and been just fine from the waist up. No wind whatsoever with the vents closed, and even with them open fully, the drag isn't such that it will affect your handling at speed. This coat looks badass, I love it. For the price I'd buy it again.

Love the jacket! Fits perfectly :)
I love this jacket! I had recently decided to try it out since my other jacket didn't have the pull tab things that bring the forearm armour closer to your arm. Fits perfectly I bought a medium I'm 5' 11" and weight 135 lbs.

Hung T on Sep 10, 2016
will this work in 20-40 degree weather?
A shopper on Dec 10, 2013
BEST ANSWER: I don't have this jacket but I do have a textile jacket with rain liner and thinsulate liner. different people have different tolerances to cold. in my case this jacket works down to about 50 degrees. at temps lower than that, it would only work for me on a short ride 10 miles or less. however, with a heated liner, I can ride it in any temperature and regularly ride 30-50 temps at an hour or more.
Hello, Does this jacket have pockets? How many and where? Thank you.
A shopper on Feb 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This jacket does indeed have pockets. It has two pockets on the outside(one on each side) that zip up to keep your goodies in at 70+(highway speeds) and one zip up inside pocket that imho is pretty deep which I use to keep my wallet and phone in. The rest of the zippers(2 chest, 2 bicep, and 2 back) are your vents plus 4 extra zippers for shoulder and elbow armor

Hope this helps
I am 5 foot 11 inches and 230 pounds... I am 19 years old and I am trying to lose weight... is an XL good for me?

Thanks!
Akash R on Apr 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Sorry for the delay, I was on a ride to Tahoe this weekend!
I was 215lb and 5'10" when I got mine and is the perfect size, it will break in a little bit too. Now I'm on my way to 200lb and the only thing that is changing is the belly area, it feels looser.

Good luck!
I have a 50 inch chest and a 48 inch waist. I'm losing weight, lol. Is the 2x going to work for me? Maybe you could recommend something else. Like the styling of this product.
A shopper on Jul 10, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I have this jacket and a Rev'it one. By far this brand has more room to spare. As long as the sizing chart is recommending about this size, you shouldn't have any problems at all. Rest assured, if you do, returning to Revzilla is no problem at all. (I have twice already). When you do find the fit that's right for you, you won't be disappointed. This has been a really great product for me.
Do you carry this in any bigger sizes, like a 3XL or 2XL Tall?
