Nice boots
I have only worn the boots once, to take the beginner motorcycle safety course, and I like them for the most part.
As for fit: I have a wide foot, so though my foot length would fit a 7.5, I typically wear 8.5 shoes for the width. I ordered the 8.5, and they fit me very well! I can fit skinny jeans inside the leg of the boot, as well as fit regular jeans over the boot without it looking funny.
The protection of the boots was tested during the course when I dropped the bike (whoops!) due to my (lack of) height, and landed pretty hard but the boots did a great job of protecting my foot/ankle. Since I mentioned height, the boots add about 1 inch to your height, I don't have a ruler so that's just a rough estimation.
The weather was in the mid-30s when we started in the morning, and got up to the mid-50s by the afternoon. Still was pretty chilly, but the boots kept my feet at a comfortable temperature through the day.
My only problems with these boots is one zipper is hard to zip up and down without some muscle, probably could have returned for a better pair but I needed them to take the MSF course. :P Also, the inner ankle bit of armor sort of digs into you after a while. After the several hours of riding and standing in them during the day of the rider course my ankles were pretty swollen and painful. I'm hoping they'll feel better once I break them in, because they are nice looking boots and very well made.

Good boots
Got these boots as a birthday gift and so far they have been awesome. They did have to be exchanged at first because although I was gifted a size 7 to start with (I normally take a 6 or sometimes a 7) but they were pretty small. They were exchanged for a 7.5 which now is a hair larger than what I want but I think it's just because the footbed is pretty narrow as well. I like this boot a lot but a few things do bother me. When ordering, try to find a whole size not just a half size larger than what you normally do and that should avoid the issue.

The one thing I do have to rant about a bit is the zipper. I've put 200-300 miles on these boots and the zipper is the worst. It does it's job really well but not only is it very stiff to pull the zipper up but I've noticed if you try to pull the zipper up and both sides are not perfectly lined up you are going to struggle a bit to get the boot to close.

PROS:
Sturdy boot, feels like a lot of protection, looks great, not a bad price, decent airflow (foot stays a good temperature whether its a little chilly or a bit hot), zipper closer and velcro combination work really well to ensure that the zipper stays up and the boot stays on, "waterproof" -ness is pretty good

CONS:
Sole of boot isn't that comfortable and very stiff (all I do is walk from my parking spot to a building and can feel it), ankle space is very narrow (can't even fit skinny jeans comfortably inside), zipper is REALLY hard to use, stiff sole takes a little bit to get used to (i.e. too much pressure on rear brake because can't feel the lever under it, etc.)

Good all-around street/touring boot
Some things this boot is, some things it isn't. This is a great boot if you are looking for a waterproof, comfortable boot for touring or street riding if you live somewhere (like the Northwest) where it can be sunny or rainy, sometimes both at once, and you need a boot that does both well. Surprisingly, it isn't too hot given its waterproof membrane. They are a nice height, hitting below the shin. Good traction on the rubber sole, and comfortable support for all day wear on and off the bike. I rode in a total downpour and my feet stayed nice and warm, though after wearing them all day my feet were pretty damp. Comfortable to walk around in. What they aren't, despite the steel shank, is very good for off road riding of any duration. The shank stops a little past mid foot, so the support does too. If you stand on your footpegs for any length of time, your feet will tire. If you're looking for a boot that will take you off road, this probably isn't it. I found the zipper hard to pull up due to the liner bunching between my foot and the zipper. I also thought the velcro on the zipper was unnecessary, kind of hard to get it unstuck to unzip the boots.

These boots run small. I am usually a size 7 shoe, and needed a full size up, an 8, to fit my wide foot, my socks, and a heel lift. Even a 7.5 was a squeeze on my foot without the lift. The inner sole does not come out to accommodate inserts, btw.

If you're looking for a comfortable, reasonably stylish boot that will keep your feet warm and comfy in the rain, or shine, they are great. Order a half to a full size bigger than your usual size.

Zippers are a major dealbreaker
I thought these boots were a good price and were constructed well, but when it came to the zipper I was proven wrong. I slipped the boot on and it fit very well (one size larger than I would normally wear) but when I went to zip them up it was nearly impossible and when i finally did the zipper split and then it was very very difficult to unzip. Quite frustrating and needless to say these are going back.

Boots are good.. zipper sucks
I used these boots on a 7 day ride through the Himalayans during which we rode through glacier melt, river crossings, hot climate and cold climates and the boots held up very well. However, the zipper is a major issue and seems to be constructed poorly with cheap materials. After the third day the zipper became inoperable and only went up half way. But for the Velcro at the top, I would have been riding with a completely open boot. Towards the end of the trip, the zipper failed completely. This was after using the boot for 5 days. DO NOT BUY UNTILL THIS IS RESOVLED

Awesome boots
I always want a boots that works on the bike and walking, warm but not hot, looks nice. And this pair works great. I had a lot of fun with them. Very comfy. The size is a bit bigger ( half size) than my sneaker's size.

great boots
This is my first pair of motorcycle boots. I love them immediately when I put them on. It feels protected and stylish.

As other reviews said, you should order a size up. I usually wear 6. not often 6.5 I never had a 7 before. But 7 is the right size here for me.
The zip can be hard to pull on sometimes, but not a big deal.

Like the boots very much
After realizing the size was a bit small and, true to their word, Revzilla exchanged for a size larger, the boots fit and feel very good. Need a bit of breaking in to walk around in, but am sure that is coming with a little more wear.

great product
You can't go wrong with Icon. Ideal riding boots, a bit too stiff to walk around in comfortably for the day, but tons of protection and comfort while riding. I haven't tested them in wet weather yet, but I believe they would be waterproof.

I read a favorable review about these boots from Web bike world written by a lady rider. Since I'm buying these for my wife, I thought they struck a good balance between price and performance. I'll update this review after she's had them for a while.

Wife needed waterproof boots as she is riding in all sorts of weather now. She likes these boots very much.
Philip A on Jun 3, 2014
These fit very very small and I have quite large calves that didn't fit into the boot. Also, when zipping up the zipper the teeth would mismatch. I ended up returning them for a pair of taller boots which allow for my large calves and have an overall better fit.

The angle of the shin plate seems steep, like it's only meant for your foot to be in a riding position. Does the boot rub on the front of your foot when walking around (is this a riding-only boot?)

BEST ANSWER: I own a pair that's a little big on me (on purpose), but it seems to be a little bigger in the toe area even for a shoe that's half a size big, compared to my other shoes sized the same. Because of my school schedule and the amount of travel it takes to get around town to every campus I need to go to, it's more convenient to leave my boots on, so I'm wearing these for 13+ hours every day without a single complaint.
The zipper broke on these boots. Any advice on where to get a repair? The local shoe repair can't handle the stiff material the boot is made of.
A shopper on Feb 12, 2014
BEST ANSWER: My zipper broke on these too.. I can't help with an answer myself, but i'm hoping by responding I'll be notified and get some help too!
what is the heel height on this boot?
A shopper on Sep 7, 2011
BEST ANSWER: Thats hard to say, since these have not yet been released, but I would estimate just about 1 inch.
