Great casual riding jacket.
I bought this jacket a few weeks ago not really expecting much but I have to say I use this jacket more than my other jackets now. This is not a jacket to be riding aggressively/track but rather if you commute to work or ride around casually this jacket will do the job. From a safety perspective, it is "stealth" so don't expect to be seen but because it is stealth it can pass as a regular jacket which can be "stylish" if you like inconspicuous black jackets. This jacket is textile/mesh with D30 armor, which makes it surprisingly light to where I thought there was no armor at all! Airflow is pretty great with new Icon's 3d mesh system. Really awesome since it is now summer in Hawaii and it can get really hot riding in dumb Oahu traffic.

The negatives are the thumb loops, They are pretty useless and I haven't used them once. I also miss the outside pockets but it is not really a big deal. Other than that, I would recommend this jacket for casual and hot weather riding even if the color is black.

Best First Jacket (1yr review)
I bought this jacket because it was cheap and has a ton of protection. It has elbow, shoulder and back ce armor all for $150!!!! The look is great and stealth. I love the murdered out look. The airflow is great for LA weather. It also comes with a quilted liner that i use in the winter and keeps me warm. When it's cold i use a hoodie to keep warm.
Pros:
Cheap
Style
Armor in back, shoulders and elbows
airflow
Cons:
I find the thumb loops annoying and awkward
shoulder armor can slide out of place

Expect comfort, protection, and durability.
I bought this jacket as a temporary replacement three months ago and since then it has become my everyday riding jacket.

The “Icon Overlord Stealth Jacket” is a simple jacket with great armor in the elbows, shoulders, and back (D3O). This jacket is neither pretty nor stylish but it is durable, comfortable, and its D3O armor is excellent. The elastic thumb loop is useless and I ended up cutting it off.

I found that its sizing is a bit on the large size, I usually wear medium in icon jackets (5'8", 175lbs) but for some reason the small fit me better than the medium. I would definitely recommend this jacket due to its price and its full protection (elbows, shoulders, and back). Expect comfort, protection, and durability over style and features

Excellent Jacket
Great jacket for long rides. Jacket is not stiff. Air flow is pretty good so you can wear it on those hot summer days. Padding is internal and light but seems like it should work well.

Great Jacket
Comfortable jacket, looks great, one weird thing is when I took out the D30 armor just to check it out, I noticed the Elbow armor and shoulder armor seems to have been switched? I switched them back to their correct places and They stay in place alot better. Otherwise, this is a great jacket to wear everyday in Los Angeles Summer or Winter.

Simple but does fit a little snug
Picked this jacket up for the summer, been riding in it on and off for the past month or so. So far it's comfortable, D30 doesnt flap or sway in the wind.
The only draw back was that the fit was a little tight. I picked up a Large so next Icon jacket I get will probably be an XL.
Airflow is really good, it kinda puffs up the jacket in the chest area at speed but overall I like the jacket.

My favorite jacket so far
I used to wear leather jackets all the time because they offer the best protection but they don't breathe as well or fit as comfortable as a textile/mesh jacket. This is easily my favorite jacket that I own. I do not race, track, and I'm a very casual conservative rider so this is perfect because it's a nice casual jacket but with the back, shoulder, and elbow protectors. The two complaints I'll mention is that the thumb loops at the cuffs are kind of a waste, I never use it but if you use that feature then it's fine but I never use it and plan on cutting them off. The elbow area is somewhat loose so the armor can slide around just a little bit but it's not like it's constantly moving around while riding or anything. If you want a low key jacket but want to feel comfortable, breathable, and safe in... get this jacket.

BUY IT!
Seriously, just do it. D30 armor slide protection all for around $150? It's a steal. I love it so much I bought another Overlord in white, and no joke might buy another color. In 95 degree So Cal heat I forget I'm wearing it when I'm moving. Of course it gets a little toasty when you stop, but once you start riding again you cool down really quickly. The hottest part of the jacket is the back protector but it's not terrible and definitely worth it for the protection. Just looking at the jacket its hard to tell there is even armor in it. On the cooler mornings I put the jacket liner back in and it does an awesome job of blocking the air and it keeps you at the right temperature. I couldn't be happier with it.

Best price for a very competent jacket
Jacket offers substantial protection with foam back and elbow padding. I love the hidden pocket on the inside and overall low profile look.

Great starter jacket
I bought this as my first motorcycle jacket at a local motorcycle dealership. The jacket did somewhat dit kinda small in terms to how long it goes down. My shirt always seems to go pass the length of the jacket. Not really a problem at all tho. The airflow is great and in all the right spots. I can feel it going up my arms and thru out my back o a nice hot day in 90 degrees +!
