Great Jacket, love it.
Icon Anthem 2 Hi-Viz: This is a fine Jacket. It flows a ton of Air and when it's not hot out the liner is good. With that said the liner will not keep you warm in cold weather. Of course ones cold tolerance comes in to play. Below 50 degrees I would be wearing my Klim Gortex with the Klim windbreaker under it. But back to the Icon Anthem. It is a nice looking jacket It could have been even more Hi-Viz for me but for those who want that toned down a bit this jacket will please you. I wear a Large which is my normal fit. The Klim Latitude Jacket that I have is a large and my Klim windbreaker is a large. I am 5-11 weigh about 180 and about normal stature. I hope that helps.

Awesome coat
I bought this jacket for my boyfriend and he loves it. It's a perfect fit for him. He normally wears an XL in jackets and this was a perfect fit at Xl. I saw that it may run large but it was not the case here. I just wish there was a woman's cut of the same jacket.

Great Jacket, Long Sleeves
I purchased this jacket to use for summer rides in NC. The jacket allows a great amount of air flow, and has kept me mostly comfortable up to 90 degree days. The only cons I have for this jacket is that the sleeves are a little long for me, The elastic wrist bands are all but useless as the sleeves are already past my wrist. Other than that I am very pleased with the jacket.

Runs atleast a size maybe two large
Nice jacket amazing airflow. Runs very large. I measured for a 2XL ordered a XL and I think a L might have fit better. The only real issue I have with the jacket is the sleeves. I have larger arms and there way to loose. I fear that if I go down the armor will do nothing and I will end up dragging elbow with the mesh part of the sleeve. It needs to have the ability to tighten the sleeves with a strap. Just something to think about before purchasing. Either way its safer than a t shirt and almost as cool for those hot days.

5'8.5'', 185lbs, wide shoulders, 40" chest.

Ordered a small when I am closer to a medium in terms of charting.

Arms fit perfect (length, diameter, etc).
Good length.

Only fitment issue is the waist runs a tad small on me (if I got a medium it would be wayyy to large diameter purely on the waist).

Only complaint would be there are no places to loop my belt into it/connect to it.

High quality pads, good material, very good flow, very nice liner.

Perfect jacket for 50+ degree F. riding.

Icon Anthem 2 Hi-Viz Jacket
This jacket is true to size and is very comfortable. It allows a great deal of air flow and the liner provides adequate warmth if you are trying to fight off the chill. Not for cold weather riding. Thumb straps do add a little pressure for me on my wrists. I choose to not wear them for better circulation in my wrists. Inside pocket is perfect for my phone and has an access hole for the cord of headphones, which allows you to secure the pocket completely. Only real con for me is the design and color, I wanted less grey and more hi-viz yellow but, this factor wasn't enough to prevent me from buying the jacket. Overall excellent jacket.

Great relaxed fit, good air flow for summer riding
I ordered this jacket after reading some reviews, the fit is the same as my regular jacket (2xl) been using it in the warm weather feels like my bike has AC when I'm moving, also has a liner I will use in the fall, also has a stash pocket for my phone, and a broker for head phones. I also like that it came with the padding for your back, shoulders and elbows. Great value awesome jacket.

Runs slightly bigger than expected....
South FL rider which is why I got it. Air flow is very good and the protection is what it is, so I hope I don't have to test it.

But.....I bought an XL since I run about a 44+ chest. according to the chart, but here is my main concern...the armor. The sleeves are too long for me, the thumb loop is useless and gets in the way, therefore, serves no purpose. More importantly, the shoulder armor sits too low and there is no mechanism in place to adjust that. So if I do go down, my confidence in the should armor doing it's job concerns me.

Again, it seems like every piece of riding gear made is for the tall and lanky.

I couldn't return it because I no longer had the tags. So if someone wishes to buy it cheap so I can get either a different size or jacket - comment and i should receive an email and we'll figure something out.

Great jacket otherwise, highly recommend.

I tend to like icon gear and the video provided on the webpage helped me determine that this jacket would be a perfect match for my summer and early spring riding but give me some higher visibly vs my current leather icon overlord. This is my first ever purchase from revzilla so hopefully it will go smoothly!
Terri S on May 27, 2015
The D30 armor is the most recent tech that this jacket includes. More style than just going black. More subtle than a full hi-viz type jacket. Decent price point.

love the style but I don't see anything that says this jacket has reflective piping of any kind. is the hi-viz yellow reflective at night?
thanks

BEST ANSWER: There is no reflector material on this jacket. With that said I would say one could have some of the 3-M Cloth Reflector material sewn onto the jacket. For what it's worth I just finished a 1000 mile ride with this jacket & it performed beautifully. Lots of air flow with armor protection.

How abrasion resistant is "mesh" when compared to 600 denier or denier in general? I see a lot of icon's textile jackets using mesh in the description but not the use of denier. Does one have greater abrasion resistance over the other or are they the same?
A C on Jul 28, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I can't answer from experience, fortunately. It is fairly heavy for a mesh jacket, though still breathes very well. I would expect it would end up shredded in a slide, but the amount of material *should* prevent you from getting shredded. I am personally more concerned about lack of ability to zip to riding pants.
