Really comfortable
Didn't buy this helmet off revzilla. But I saw it had no reviews and felt like I should leave one for anyone else looking for a helmet. I tried on every helmet at my local shop and nothing else compared to this helmet.
The fabric on the inside is cool to the touch which killed any concerns I had with overheating. Which proved to be true on my ride home.
The helmet is lightweight, I felt no strain on my neck.
Wind noise is next to none, but it's there.
Good wide visiblity and the helmet also comes with a clear pinlock insert.
I have yet to use the chin curtain but it did come with one which was a plus to me.

Great SNELL approved helmet that wont break the bank
I've owned 2 of these now and I took the first one on a trip to Southern California and back and only had to wash the lining twice, great airflow but I got matte black so the sun still got pretty warm. Recently I got into a wreck and this helmet worked great, I had no neck or back injuries but the helmet held up great considering it scraped the road and then hit a curb (along with me as well) it held well. The visor is so easy to switch to a different one and includes the anti-fog insert. This helmet is the only HJC product I own but as far as helmets go this one is great considering I had a SNELL approved Arai that was like 2 pounds heavier and the lining was horrible, and an anti-fog faceplate was like 120 dollars compared to the 50 for the RPHA 10, and the Arai was twice as expensive. Overall love this helmet and how light and quiet it is.

RPHA 10 Zappy
I see the 10’s are on the way out. Mine is a Zappy which is now gone from Revzilla but I wanted to put in my 2 cents worth on this class of helmets. Perhaps my review will help someone make up their mind on the close outs!
Great helmet that I have enjoyed using. No complaints as all!
Have just started riding and got mine at a local shop last June 2016. They said it was a 2015 model, and I got it at a 25% discount. Later found the tag on the interior stating it was manufactured in 2013 so keep that in mind on your next purchase. Look for the date of manufacture tag.
I had selected another helmet but my wife urged me to upgrade to the Zappy.
It was a pound lighter and had a better look and feel. It should have at an additional $100. It looked more aerodynamic too.
I now have 8000 miles on it beginning in the South Carolina Summer heat and the air flow is great. No sweat on my shaved head unless I am stopped for a long light. Then I just pop the visor up. Plenty of air flow. I can even tell if the vents are closed. They are easy to open and let in a lot of air. I run them full open even in the winter.
I cannot feel the wind resistance until I get up past 65mph and then it is only a little. Now, if I turn my head sideways, I get about 3 - 4 pounds of resistance! Really aerodynamic!
It keeps the rain out too. Two or three rides in frog stranglers and nothing came in.
At highway speed you can feel the air flow around your face.
I chose a snug fit and the fabric does not feel hot at all. The liner is still clean and fresh smelling at 8000 miles.
Shield comes off quickly and the inner lens, which is supposed to reduce fogging, pops out easily for cleaning.
Great visibility and zero distortion! In fact there is so much “glass” up front that I put several strips of ¾ inch wide electrical tape across the top to keep the sun out of my eyes in the morning and evening. Use 3M 33+ as it has the best glue. Cheaper brands will get gummy over time.
Even with winter gloves the visor is easy to open. It will stop in about 6 positions so you can adjust it for slower traffic riding.
The breath guard keeps fog off of the visor unless you exhale fast, but the incoming air will quickly cause it to evaporate. You do not feel as though you are breathing into a glass either.
The chin curtain cuts the wind noise and the air flow, but it is still sufficient.
Can’t compare the noise level with other brands, as this is my first, but I prefer to ride with ear plugs.
As the weather dipped to the lower 40’s I installed the windshield on the bike. This has had an effect on the air flow and the visor no longer remains fog free. This may be expected, but, like I said, I’m just starting out.
Depends on how dry the air is though. I have countered this with controlled breathing so I have a long exhale period. Most of the time what fog that does accumulate from a normal or fast breath will be gone in 15 -20 seconds.
This morning I removed the inner visor and chin curtain and had server fogging. Thought the extra air would help. Most was at the same time the windshield was fogging up. I just opened the visor a notch or 2 and it dried out. If the air was dry the visor was 80% clear.
It was those times when I entered patches of warm moist air that I had trouble.
Will put the inner visor back in for the next trip to see how it works.
Great helmet that I have enjoyed using. No complaints as all!
When this one ages out I’ll be looking to the HJC line first.

Great Helmet for the Closeout Price
I'm coming from a HJC CL-16 that I got 4 years ago as my first helmet. I've always thought that helmet fit well until I got this one. This doesn't move at all, feels very snug around the head and is very comfortable. It also works very well with eyeglasses since it has a channel for them. Also installed my Sena 20S in it with no issues, except it was quite hard to get the left cheek pad locked back in after putting the Sena in. Noise level is pretty good, but you should be wearing earplugs anyway. It looks great, feels great, and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Nice helmet, will do the job for the majority of riders
This helmet does what most everyone needs a helmet to do. Protect their noggin, be comfortable to wear, lessen the noise from riding, etc. I haven't actually gone down with this helmet on, so I can't state how well it protects your head, but I have to imagine it would do a pretty good job.

I personally think this helmet is somewhat loud. Without earplugs for highway riding, the noise is pretty overwhelming and you will definitely need to tuck behind your windscreen.

The visors clicks in pretty easily. The other visors (smoke, mirrored, etc) are priced pretty fairly from HJC.

The helmet is pretty comfortable on my head. It is not ultra snug, I wish my head felt a little more secured by the helmet

Note: I did have to contact HJC for 2 replacement parts for this helmet. Where the ventilation cog wheels are on the top of the helmet, there are two plastic pieces covering those dials. Those plastic pieces both started peeling off (they are simply double-side taped to the helmet).

The quality of this helmet is pretty good... however, I feel like over time you'll start to wish you got a higher end helmet; something that offers better noise cancellation, fit and features.

Most will be totally content with this helmet.

Ouch!
I've had great luck with HJC helmets; this is my first full face helmet with them. After 30 minutes of riding I needed to get off, my forehead was really hurting. On a pain scale, it was a 5, which meant I needed to stop riding.

I ordered a Large but I guess I'm going to maybe exchange for an XL?! The L provides a nice snug fit but I guess its too snug. I wasn't complaining at all until about 30min into my ride.

Also, the foam piece for the chin seems really flimsy and I don't have a lot of confidence that within a couple months it will become non-functional (aka worn out).

I'm seriously considering another helmet manufacturer.
