Graves Motorsports Slip-On Exhaust Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R / ZX-636

Graves Slip-On Exhausts are designed for the rider seeking top of the line performance, fit, finish and value. Developed using the same technology that has powered the Monster Energy Graves teams to consecutive AMA Superbike championships, the Graves Everlast packing produces an exhaust note like no other and holds up longer to the extreme conditions of a high-revving motorcycle. Graves incorporates advanced welding processes to reduce oversized welds that can cause excessive heat buildup. A special pipe bending technique known as mandrel bending is used for all Graves exhausts to prevent wrinkles and ovalization of the exhaust pipes. The strapless mounting tab leaves the muffler's lines uninterrupted. All of this combined not only streamlines the appearance of the exhaust systems but saves 13.8 pounds over the stock exhaust!

Made in USA.

This exhaust is awesome
I just got this exhaust for my 2015 636 30th anniversary edition and i am so happy with it. Not going to lie at first i was a little bit worried about how loud it is but honestly you dont really need ear plugs i think someone else said they needed to wear them but its not that bad it does not hurt your ears after a long ride and you do get used to it. One thing i will point out that i noticed atleast with my bike is that in the lower rpms when u are on and off the throttle you get a lot of popping and crackling sounds kinda like its not getting enough fuel. Im pretty sure the reason its doing that is because it needs a power commander or a dyno tune which i plan to get one soon. Also i heard that installing block off plates does eliminate the popping so i will definitely be doing that. Thats honestly the only thing that kinda sucks that ive noticed is the way it sounds when u are on and off the throttle but thats a bike thing nothing to do with the exhaust. It has an amazing tone a friend of mine got the m4 street slayer and his compared to mine is a huge difference while his sounds pretty good mine is a lot louder and deeper and i am very happy i chose graves.

Graves slip on
Love the new tone it gave my zx6r. Definitely worth it, I would say at first I thought it was too loud but I already got use to it. I have a intercom system in my helmet. I can still hear the exhaust over any music or conversation. Install wasn't too bad, replacing all the plastic was probably the hardest part.

It exceeded my expectations
This exhaust is gorgeous!, it sounds amazing, It's loud but not to the point of uncomfortable. From Stock exhaust to this is like day to night, I totally recommend it, you will love it, totally worth the money.

It fits perfect in my Ninja ZX6R 2015 30 Aniv.

It remove the catalytic converter. All parts included.

I install the Sound Link insert, it did not make much difference but I put it anyways cause I did not wanted it to be too loud. The sound is growl and bass.

Spend the money you'll love it.

Your neighbors will love this exhaust
Loud. Easy to install. Decent preformed gain. This and a PCV netted me about 10% hp gain on a rear wheel dyno while dropping several pounds off the bike.

Sounds and looks amazing
I replaced my leo vance exhaust with this on my 09 zx6r and the difference was huge. It is pretty loud, lower rpm's its a nice growl and if you open her up it screams. Love the sound. Easy to install with no issues.
It made my zx look so much better with the low profile of the slip on. I would for sure recommend the graves slip on.

Sounds amazing!
Love the sound of this exhaust way more than stock. The only thing is I wish they wouldn't put those stupid stickers on it. I have a blacked out ZX6R and the red and yellow label looks horrible...suggestion, take a hair dryer and heat it up and peel the sticker off very carefully! Other than that, should of upgraded to this exhaust right after buying the bike!

top quality product from a race proven company
This is the second exhaust I've put on my 2013 636. It should have been the only one. Sound is amazing. The carbon fiber can and carbon fiber end cap look stunning in person. It's a slip on so you won't really notice any performance loss or gain, haven't noticed too much loss in low end grunt so I'm happy about that. Highest quality, wouldn't expect anything less from Graves.

All around very impressed.
Very easy install. The slip on is extremely light. A good weight loss over the stock 14 zx6r exhaust. I can't comment on any hp/tq gains as I had it installed before it left the show room. The full carbon fiber can looks very good also. It gave my bike a very throaty sound down low and through some of the mid range. It sounds like a moto gp bike when you wind it up. I would note also that it took me a while to get use to just how loud it is.....but once I did I didn't even notice it anymore....sounds amazing. Point blank you won't regret this slip on.

Great Upgrade from Stock
The Graves Hexagonal slip on is a great way to remove the heavy and bulky stock exhaust from a ZX6R! The exhaust when installed sits just behind the drivers right foot, eliminating the concern for passenger burns on the legs. It also gives your bike a much more stream lined look, and makes working on the rear components easier.
This exhaust is loud, like REALLY LOUD. When I have to ride in early mornings I will sometimes walk my bike to the end of the block to avoid waking the neighbors. That being said, it sounds outstanding, huge improvement. People will hear you coming...and going.
Installation is very easy, but the directions that come with it are not the easiest to follow. If you are familiar with your bike it is a simple DIY project. If not, jump on YouTube to see how to remove your old exhaust, and the new one just slips right on, hence the "slip on".
I haven't noticed a huge jump in power, but I feel cutting off 13 lbs of weight from the stock exhaust was worth it.

Did this come with a new gasket or a bolt and nut to mount it to the frame?
James3 on Aug 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No gasket, I do believe it only came with a new nut, and you re-use the large bolt from the factory can. Be careful and take your time when removing the factory can, and then when installing the graves and the gasket will be fine.
Can I install even if cat was removed?
A shopper on Jun 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It all depends on how you removed the cat, if you use the hammer and chisel method your golden but if you went ahead and cut and welded a new pipe were the cat it is the fitment might me off but it shouldn't be an issue I removed mine and it fit perfectly, be ready for a lot of back fire lol
Fuel sustem remapping require?
A S on Feb 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: No. Might run a little lean, with a slight crackle when you let off your throttle, but no remap necessary. That is usually only necessary with a full set of headers too.
Does the titanium version of this slip on require repacking?
