I'm happy.
This helmet is a great bang for the buck item. I also have a half helmet so of course this thing is going to be much more quiet than that. I have used other modular helmets as well and the noise level is always "there" but for what you pay for this helmet it is to be expected. Drop down visor is great. It can get a touch heavy after a long day of riding but it doesn't bug me . All of the features and vents work great and it is bluetooth ready so it was easy to chuck in my Sena 3 s-w. You can hear music a higher speeds just fine although it is hard to hear phone calls when driving at 55+. Doesn't fog terribly on cool mornings either. If you are looking for an affordable helmet that is comfortable and looks good, look no further.

Great helmet, I love the internal visor!
I just got this helmet to use with my 2013 KLR 650. I love the modular design and the flip down internal visor. It really is two helmets in one. And even with the chin bar fully up, aero drag and wind noise are minimal. It fits easily over my eyeglasses without having to take them off first ( a big plus) The design is really cool, especially the drop down internal visor! I can't overstate how great it looks, real fighter pilot styling.

Great internal sun shield and comfortable modular design.
i usually wear a half helmet but wanted a modular for winter and longer rides. My wife (who's review is the first one for this helmet) bought the GM-64s as her second Gmax helmet and loves it. I tried it and thought it was pretty nice. I then ordered myself a Bell Revolver modular helmet based upon reviews and thought it might be a better fit. I was disappointed after receiving the Bell helmet, mainly because the internal sun shield didn't come down low enough and kind of cut through my field of vision. I knew the sun shield on the Gmax came down much lower having the side by side comparison. I sent back the Bell for the Gmax (a quick and easy exchange thanks to Revzilla) and am very pleased with the fit and function of my new GM-64s and may have been smiling for the whole 150 mile test ride! The sun shield and comfort of this helmet is amazing. The dual-pivot modular design is also a plus. Great job Gmax and Revzilla!

Great product.
This is my second GMAX helmet. Love the fit. It rides quiet and secure. I especially love the built-in sun visor. My husband likes it so much he may get one as well. I definitely recommend it. It is worth the price..after all it is your head you are protecting!

Good value
This is my first modular helmet, and I have never owned or worn a full face helmet either, so my perspective includes only open face helmets. I am impressed with this helmet's features, but the fit is a little bit off. The size guide says I should wear an XL but based on general experience I went with a 3XL and it fits OK, so I think the helmets run small.

The vents are easy to use and produce a comfortable amount of airflow.

The inner visor is easy to activate and deactivate BUT I don't like how long it is. When I activate the inner shaded visor. It comes within a millimeter of the bridge of my nose, and depending on how the helmet is sitting on my head, it actually touches my nose. I will probably take a dremel to the nose carve-out to give my nose some more room.

I like the rubber seal at the bottom of the outer clear visor. It seals out wind and weather nicely. This feature is not found on some other brands.

I think the helmet catches a minimal amount of wind when I turn my head at high speeds.

I feel my peripheral vision is blocked ever so slightly. I have made this conclusion based on the fact that I can see helmet at the extremes of my vision while I am looking straight ahead. Consequently I believe I have to turn my head a little farther when I want to look at my blind spots.

the chin curtain that is on this helmet is intended to reduce unwanted airflow and I think it helps. It feels weird at first but it is easy to get used to. if you have a beard that is longer than an inch, then It will mess up your beard, so keep that in mind. I'm not sure if it can be removed properly, but I'm sure you can cut it off.

With the face shield closed I feel that it is awkwardly close to my chin. When I jut out or push out my chin it easily makes contact with the bottom of the helmet. Is this true of all full face and modular helmets? I'm worried that a blow to my chin might cause the helmet to dig in and not actually protect my chin. I have concluded that this isn't much of a concern since I believe that most traffic related blows to the head will not come from such an awkward angle.

I think the fit is more round than oval. I think my head is oval shaped and the front and back of my head touch the helmet while the sides feel like there is a little more room.

I feel I got a good helmet for the money.

Great Helmet!
Since convertible helmets came out, I was a fan. Love being able to lift the chin bar and feel like I'm out of the helmet(to a degree). The drawback was always that the raised chin bar pivoted up pretty high. That raised the center of gravity to an uncomfortable level and put the chin bar in the wind. Gmax's ingenious dual hinge design for the chin bar solves both of those issues as well as could be (until "Transformer" technology finally arrives). The addition of the sunglass visor just takes this helmet to a crazy cool level! My wife and I just love them! And the price point made it all affordable enough to own. Amazing!

Good Helmet
I chose this helmet because I had a 54S in the past but was looking for a similar helmet and I liked the looks of the GM64. Fit and finish are good and I like the sun shield control over the 54S. It is the loudest modular helmet I have had out of KBC, HJC, and the 54S. For me earplugs are a must for rides above 45 mph or so.

Great helmet for the money
It's a little flimsy and cheap feeling but overall it is a great helmet. The road noise could be quieter but is pretty decent.

Good helmet for lower price
I got this helmet for my girlfriend. So far she really likes it and so do I. I have an older G Max helmet myself, but the built in sunglasses and updated components on her new helmet have me jealous of hers.
