Reviews & Questions
The material is very thin and soft, I think it will not survive road abrasion if you load it in a way where it can touch the ground in a crash, but it's waterproof and the air valve gets the extra air out, which is a neat feature. It comes with those two buckle straps as shown in the 3rd photo, to link a GRT702 20-liter dry sack on top, which is my set up now.
Note that the GRT702 dry sacks don't come with the same buckle straps at all, only non-adjustable yellow bungee cords for strap down. And Givi does not sell those straps separately. The 4th and 5th photos are deceiving, so don't think that they are be stylish toppers for panniers as pictured. The thick bungee cords can't adjusted so they are useless. Unless you want to use Rok straps on a pair of overpriced dry sacks. I ordered two and decided to keep one to top the duffle for the look.
Over all I'm happy with the purchase of the duffle mostly for it's 50cm length and 40 liter capacity. I wish it could be bigger by being taller - just add ¼ of the height and it'll get 10 liter more, ½ higher and it'll be 60 liter total. I am hoping soon some brand finally decides to make a 50+ liter bag that's shorter and taller to accommodate adventure bikes' side panniers. Just silly that nobody has figured this out yet. Any manufacture reps reading? ;)

There is no mention of tie down straps, other than a shoulder strap.
