Better but not by much
First, let me say the reason I purchased this windscreen for the F800GT was to reduce buffeting around my helmet at highway speeds (55+ MPH). While it is somewhat better than the factory windscreen, it isn't much better. Still a lot of buffeting. It is significantly better at lower speeds, but as speed rises, the vacuum behind the windscreen draws the wind over the top and sides of the Givi creating a turbulent area targeted at the rider. From my chin upward, the air is a mess. I'm about 6' tall, so shorter riders might experience a bit better results.

On a second note, the build quality is not quite as good as the factory screen it replaced. If you look closely, the lower edges are inconsistent, as if the screen was a little off of center in the mold. Luckily, the fairing mostly covers the flaws.

Given the result, I probably wouldn't purchase this screen again. There just isn't enough of a benefit to justify the money and installation trouble. The only screen I see getting consistently good reviews is the Madstad, which I'm having trouble warming to because it just doesn't look right on the bike. I've also tried the MRA-X screen mounted to the factory screen which yielded about the same result as the Givi.

Worse, but fixable, just spend more money..
I am 6 feet tall, average proportions. My f800gt is bone stock other than this windshield. I put 24k miles on the bike with the stock windshield but 20 miles was unbearable with this windshield. The turbulence coming from the top makes for AWFUL headache-inducing helmet buffeting (and I have a quality helmet). Now the fix: add a x-creen tour spoiler to the top. I borrowed a clamp on one and it's a perfect fix, so I ordered one of my own. It's just money right? So, overall I am dissatisfied with this product and would not recommended it to anyone over 5 feet tall unless you are prepared to add a visor to the top. The only good things are that I think it looks better in real life than in the photos, and it takes air off your chest and hands, which is nice when it's under 40 degrees!
