Giant Loop Diablo Tank Bag Pro

The Giant Loop Diablo Tank Bag Pro upgrades are similar to its larger cousin, the Fandango Tank Bag Pro, while remaining true to its minimalist, slim, trim design, all in a 4 liter capacity.

Full interior lining with hook-and-loop accepting fabric, movable divider with an elastic tire pressure gauge holder, exterior mesh pocket and D-ring mounts for the optional Buckin’ Roll pannier pockets (2 liters each side) are key features.

Fuel fills are now easily accessed by simply unzipping either side from the harness, and the concave front allows vent hoses to breath. Fits virtually any motorcycle, including dirt bikes, dual sports, adventure and sport machines with metallic or non-metallic tanks/shrouds.

Great, low profile, waterproof tank bag
I picked this up to match my GL Great Basin. It has a low profile that fits the 1190 Adventure R very good. The zipper-off addition works out very easily for refuels. Honestly, all tank bags should have this option. I waterproof the seams with seam sealer and haven't has a leak inside. I do wish that the map pouch was a separate and removable option as they tend to scratch and fade easy; it would be nice if you could replace it if that happens. The map pouch is a little small, but it's to be expected with a smaller bag.

I keep a first aid kit, wallet, 12v charging port, hat, winch strap and cord, wet wipes and few small items. It holds plenty without being overly bulky. I would recommend it.

The Right Tank Bag
Functional, durable and unimposing. I HATE tank bags that extend up to my chin, hang off the edges of my tank, or crowd me on the seat. What I want from a tank bag is a place to put a map where I can see it, and storage for essentials that I want easy access to; cell phone, glasses, water bottle, pen, ear plugs, chap stick, power bars, cap, face shield microfiber rag...... I do not use a tank bag for luggage. The Giant Loop Diablo Pro qualifies is every way, plus it is constructed so that it is easy to reach the gas cap filler, and it is easy to clean and maintain--just hose it down. Suits my needs completely.

Good Idea, Poor Execution
I bought this for my 2017 KTM Duke.

It is a PITA to install with all those straps. Better if it had quick detach buckles.

The channel for the gas cap is too small and gets in the way of opening the gas cap.

The front end covers the key and makes it very difficult to operate.

The zippers are super hard to get started because of the velcro pad between the bag part and the harness part keeping the bag from moving into place to engage the zipper.

I really wish I had not wasted so much money on this thing.

Great small tankbag for the KTM 1190
I was torn about the volume of the Diablo. After installing it I could not be happier about the purchase. The bag is just the right size to allow you to stand and ride in the dirt without constantly hitting it. It certainly holds more than enough for my needs.

Construction looks to be excellent and will certainly exceed the bikes life. Installation is easy. Bright yellow color adds a bit of visibility as well.

Convenient size, looks great, works well, doesn't get in the way.
Thought this tank bag was a little pricey at first, but at 20% off decided to take the plunge. No regrets. Construction is solid and looks like it will last a long time and will wear well. It's kept my belongings dry in the rain, is easy to attach and remove and doesn't get in the way of riding or refuelling. It also comes in neutral as well as funky colours (I got yellow to contrast with my white bike)! I like the harness system (looks better on scrambler and adventure styled bikes) and it feels like it can take a beating. I can also place my smartphone in the weatherproof clear pocket, doing away with the need for a separate mount, but have to switch off auto-rotate so the map doesn't turn upside down. This is primarily because of the angle of the tank on my KTM Duke.

Excellent choice for any adv bike.
I downgraded from a BMW huge tank bag to this and I must say it's an upgrade for me in terms of performance and simplicity. Makes you take only the things you really need and leave the others at home or in your rear side cases. I've been through a few rain storms and yes it does get a bit damp in sections but I haven't seam sealed the bag so I'm curious if that'll waterproof it. Overall I'm very happy with how it fits my needs. Highly recommend it.

Just the right size Goldilocks
I did not want huge tank bag. This one is a great size and does not interfere with seeing my gauges or GPS. I can put anything I need quick access to in it. I recently rode from Denver through the rockies to Gallup, to Deming through the Gila National forest, to Terinlingua TX to the border of Mexico in Big Bend back through the Guadalupe mountains back to Denver. I had plenty of room in the bag and did not feel it was to small. It is easy to attach, unzip to access the gas tank, and easy to transport off the bike. I ride a Tiger 800 XCA these days.

Tough Stuff
I'm new to the sport but my adventure riding enabling buddies are not. We were shocked when we were setting up my bike for my maiden adventure. The lower straps that attach the bag to the frame were too short! I ride a KTM 990. That must be 50% of the people who buy this bag. However, it was a quick fix. I just went to a camping store and bought some extra straps, cut the existing in a cautious place, and problem solved.
It's just super frustrating. They charge a premium for the bag but save a few pennies (maybe less) by cutting the straps too short.

Okay, back to the bag itself...AWESOME. It's not huge but that's why I bought it. I don't smash my n_ts when I'm stand up riding. Fit and finish are second to none.

Great tank bag, but not close to water tight
I have about 1500 miles on the bike using this tank bag. I purchased it for a KTM 690 Duke. Great size for food, water, air gauge, earplugs, heat controller, etc. Small enough that I don't notice it when riding, but just big enough for everything I want direct access to. Comes with about 10' of extra straps that need to be cut and burned once installed. The ads indicate "water-resistant" zippers, but be forewarned, with anything more than a brief shower at slow speeds, this bag gets very wet inside. If there is any chance of real rain, particularly at highway speeds, better put stuff in plastic bags. Otherwise, high quality construction and great fit for my bike. The mounting harness allows very quick and easy access to the tank for refueling, and the bag can be taken on and off the bike in no time. Excellent design if your fuel fill is right under the bag.
