would these work as cross country ski glove?
A shopper on Jan 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I ride motorcycles, and am also a lifelong nordic skier. Because "cross-country" is an aerobic sport, I would never wear a glove like this. The reason is that if you are really skiing, they would be WAY TOO HOT. Sweaty hands would probably not do these gloves a favor. If you are really skiing, as opposed to walking-on-skis on flat ground, I would pack a pair of gloves like this for emergencies, but would wear a lighter washable glove or mitten. I could really see using these for "downhill" skiing though, which for 99% of skiers out there, is not aerobic.
