Decent product but pointless for 595LM Owners with only 1 vehicle
Regarding purchasing this for the 595 LM from Garmin:
NOT Intended for any other GPS except the 595 (395 etc).
I bought this thinking that the Garmin unit I ordered wouldn't have one in the box as standard.
The 595LM I ordered from Revzilla already has every piece of mounting kit you will need to put this on your bike. Wiring kits, ram mounts etc, so this kit is not necessary unless you intend to mount this in a second vehicle. If a second vehicle is your purpose for buying it, you might need extra ram mounts.

Critiques & Comments about the wiring itself:
3.5mm jacks are included for purposes I can't think of, definitely not appropriate for all weather use or motorcycles in general, due to being completely unprotected from the elements.
These were most likely intended as a dual use harness, but again they have no weather sealing and will suffer when riding in the rain.
I was expecting an SAE connector or some connectors for facilitating wiring to the bike. There are two exposed unterminated leads with an inline fuse.

There is a USB connector, fairly long with a sealed port, the only sealed port out of all the connectors.
Overall I consider the length of wiring to be generous to a fault, if your bike is not very large and your routing is short this harness is overkill.

This unit is identical to what is already included as a standard kit for the GPS unit it is intended for.

If you have more then one bike
Having the wires end up in a place that is convenient for your bike is a crap shoot. With that said, this is the same mount that comes with your garmin, if you have more then one bike you will have to get this to put on your second bike. I have one on my XSR 900 very simple install and FJR much harder getting the wires to end up in the locking compartment. With bluetooth chances are you wont use all the wires.

BEST ANSWER: Have not done it but I do not see why not. Just make sure the wires within do not have contact to the adjacent wires before sealing them.
What are the four plug/lead types shown in the photo?

BEST ANSWER: No - I have the 395, it doesn't fit. Mount is for a bigger GPS unit and has multiple power connections on the back, the 395 only has 2.
