Great 'all rounder' combination of protection, style, and quality
These just arrived and I've had my first opportunity to try them out. I am impressed so far!

I deliberated long and hard between these and the similarly matched/ priced TCX X-Rap WP. Both looked excellent. I wanted a reasonable (there is no perfect!) comprise between protection, comfort, durability, and style for day to day in-town riding.

Fit: I am very consistently a 9.5US shoe size, and have narrow feet. I opted for a 44UK size (corresponding to 10US) and am glad I did. They appear to fit ever so slightly small. I do not believe the 43 would have worked (and particularly with a heavier sock underneath if using in the winter). Width appears normal. Even if the Drytex is breathable, having the tiny bit of extra space can't hurt when it is warmer out and the toes need to breathe. Of note: given that most of the tongue is attached (up to and above the ankle) to maintain waterproof integrity, it is less convenient to slide off of your foot without unlacing/ significantly loosening most of the first 3 or 4 eyelets. When I tried to sneak out only partially loose on the top 3 eyelets, my foot dragged/ folded the insole up as I went. I'm sure once broken in it won't be as big of a problem however. And it is the nature with any boot of this type.

Build: Well constructed. The oil-treated leather is a nice touch. Stitching looks good, interior of shoe is fold-free. Sole feels solid.

Protection: I have limited basis for comparison (I have heavy-duty Axo touring boots which are like tanks for my feet), however the protection on the Coopers seems 'adequate.' Toe is reinforced to the degree you would expect with some forming and a few layers of stiff leather over top. You likely won't notice the gear shift much on your toe, but it certainly isn't a hard cap by any means.

The ankle protection is as it looks. Plastic-type covers with some soft padding underneath- will do the job with skidding or some impact resistance. The heel cockpit appears equally reinforced as toe box- definitely moveable with a thumb/ index finger squeeze, but should do its job should it be required.

I do not know (I would really like to see Anthony do a review on these guys), but I believe the TCX X-Rap WP likely has slightly better overall ankle and heel protection than the Coopers. I could be wrong on this though.

Comfort: The first thing I noted out of the box was the weight- they are light! Just slightly more than a regular shoe. The inside is soft and does not have any annoying folds/ seam lines. It is no exaggeration to say you can walk around all day in these and feel comfortable. Much more of a shoe than a boot feel- still, there is the feeling of the heel/ toe/ ankle protective features, which is nice.

Conclusion: Really glad I got these. Unique styling, four-season, very comfortable, appears built to last a few years, and still offer a reasonable amount of protection.

Nice Alternative to the More Popular Brands
It seems like there are a fair number of riding shoes that come in just south of $200. For the price, this was one of the few that was all leather, had a high top, and heel/toe reinforcement. The waterproof aspect was not something I particularly cared about but it's a nice bonus, I guess.

The leather feels very nice. It seems like the tongue is textile and breathable, but the rest of the shoe is all leather. The heel and toe reinforcement is not a hard plastic, but feels like an extra layer of leather. Would be helpful in a fall/slide, but probably not much protection from crush forces.

The outside ankle protection is pretty close to my actual ankle, but the inside is way too low and rear.

The sole has little notches in the bottom that allow it to flex easily for walking, but is very stiff in other directions. I don't notice much, if any extra flex versus my race boots on the pegs.

HIGHS:
-Nice leather
-Good style and a brand your friends probably don't have
-Good fit. Wear size 11 US, bought 45EU and fits nicely.
-Plenty of stick on pegs
-Reasonably light in weight

LOWS:
-Time consuming to put on / take off. Top few lace holes have to be completely undone and the whole shoe loosened to take off. The waterproof liner keeps the tongue from having much range of motion.
-Short laces. Shoes has to be really cinched down to have enough lace to tie.

Conclusion:
I wanted something that was more protective than an "air" textile shoe, but something I could wear around work. I'm pleased with it so far and think it falls squarely between a textile riding shoe and moto boot with plastic hard bits.

Excellent shoes and looks really awesome.
I love these shoes. I love to ride my bike and go to the gym. I can work out with these ones w/o issues. Air flow is not good but it is waterproof so i will suck it up. At the end. Excellent shoes.

Good looking casual boot
Purchased these from an Italian merchant to get the Anthracite color option. The shoes look great and are true to size (I wear a 42 in most boots and these fit perfectly at 42). I haven't tested the waterproofedness as of yet. The boots are very comfortable and provide a decent amount of protection for something that doesn't look at all like a motorcycle boot. The soles are very flexible and there is no issue walking around off the bike.

My only complaint is the difficulty getting on and off. The laces have to be loosened pretty far down the boot to get them on. Speaking of the laces, they don't feel very high quality and I expect to have to replace them pretty soon.

great shoe
Great shoe.
Comfortable enough to wear all day and walk in.
Looks great.

A little hot because its waterproof but if you dont lace it all the way up its much better and still sits snug.
A little hard to take on/off
