Excellent sport touring gear
In preparation for a 7,000 mile trip this summer I purchased these pants to go with my Tempest D-Dry jacket. The pants are well made and never let rain in, even through torrential downpours. The vents made for excellent breathability in hot weather, and the armor protection seemed well suited to the job. The pants clean up nicely with soapy water and a rag. I wear a size 30 Levis, and I went with the size 48 pants. My boots fit nicely under the cuff of the pants, for a totally waterproof solution. Dainese quality is evident throughout. It was great to be able to simply ride through a rain storm, without stopping to put on a rain suit. Highly recommended, and a shout out to Revzilla's customer service.

Tempest D-Down Pants
I purchased these pants last December during our last big rain. I live in California so I never got a chance to properly review their waterproofness before spring rolled around.
Well, these past two weeks, I have done two one hour long rides in consistent rain and can vouch that these pants do not keep you dry.

Warmth:
Without the thermal liner, I'm able to wear these pants into some pretty chilly temps. As soon as I throw on the liner, I find myself riding in 30-40's very comfortably. (As soon as it cools down some more, I want to see if I can hit upper 20's)

The first time I rode in the rain, I felt really cold in the upper 50s to lower 60 degrees. I arrived with wet crotch and a dampness on the inside of the pants, not unlike the condensation found on the inside of a cheap tent. Not enough to soak me, but enough to chill me to the bone.
On my second ride, the crotch remained dry but I was still way colder than I'd expect with these pants.

Fit:
29W 28L and the 44 fit's perfectly.
A bit more relaxed than my Drake Air to accommodate for the liner but still a very nice fit on my slender frame.

I really wish the outer layer of these pants didn't retain so much water. They fit great, look great, and keep me warm....up until they get wet. At this price point, I was expecting to find a a pair of pants to end my rainy woes but at last, I'm back to the drawing board.

You will get wet
The operative word in the description is "almost" any weather condition. I've worn these during the summer and in moderate rain, and they were comfortable and held up pretty well in moderately inclement conditions. That said, I just returned for a four hour, mid-30s, ride home and they failed me spectacularly when I most needed them. Cold rain start to finish and half way through the ride I was soaked. Crotch and thigh areas in particular were waterlogged, inner membrane as well as the pant itself. If you really want waterproof, go for the Gortex options - don't let the name D-Dry fool you.

Good Touring Pants
5'8", 150# -- size 48 fitment is good -- took a little bit of getting used to the full-height knee/chin guards though.

*Zero* padding on the backside, and minimal hip padding -- and no way to add it.

Pants do not have lots of airflow, but with the vents open, they are okay while moving -- when stuck in 90+F temperatures in the city, they do get hot even without the thermal liner.

Paired with Sidi Cobra full-height boots and Dainese Hawker D-Dry jacket, this is a nice water-resistant touring setup, tested in surprise Colorado downpours.

Awesome pants.
These are my first pair of dedicated motorcycle pants. I've worn them a few times in 50-60 degree dry weather without the liner in, and they are great. I always assumed Dainese products to be made for small Italian men, but I was definitely wrong, as they fit my large stature better then any other brand I have tried (RevIt, Alpinestars, AGV). I'm 6'1" and 240lbs, and the 58 fits perfectly (In Levis I wear a 38/32). I have a Dainese Veloce jacket (exclusive to Cycle Gear, sorry Revzilla) that zip into these perfectly, and they fit well over my Alpinestars SMX6 boots. They're also not baggy like other touring pants, so I don't feel weird walking into a Starbucks with them on.

Great motorcycle pants!
I recently went on a motorcycle trip and the weather ranged from 40's to low 70. The pant was comfortable on and off the bike, fits my Dainese TRQ-Tour Gore-Tex boots, has a liner I can take off for great 3 season riding, great protection, and looks great!

My only grip is that I had to buy these pants to zip with my Dainese Tempest D-Dry Jacket. I was hoping my Dainese New Drake Air Textile pants would zip up to the jacket, but it will not.

In the end I think it only makes sense to buy the jacket and pants together so everything works as intended. I read several reviews that the pants don't protect in rain. I wonder if that had to do them wearing miss match stuff.

My motorcycle trip went awesome and I attribute that to the Dainese Tempest D-Dry jacket and pants.

Good Overpant
I only wear these for colder days so I can't say how cool they are in the summer with the panels removed, but they are surprisingly warm. They fit easily over riding boots and jeans and when its cold enough, my fleece mid layer. I bought these mostly because there aren't many options with full length zippers, but I would definitely recommend them.

Good pants for the Money
The air flow sucks which would be fixed if you could remove the D-Dry liner which you can not. comes with a thermal liner. i don't know where you would be riding to actually need that. i live in NYC and i never have to you the thermal liner. great waterproof protection Dainese is without a doubt the best in the business. other than the fact that you can not wear this in the summer without literally melting i would say these are the best pants.

Good 3 Season Pants
I bought these pants to go with my Tempest Jacket and they have lived up to my expectations so far. I have ridden in the 30 degree range and was impressed with how well they keep me warm. If I had one gripe it would be that I wish the cuffs could be cinched down to keep more air out.

Dont expect a water proof ride in the rain
Over all these are good pants. They look and feel good. The airflow is pretty good, with two zippers on the left and right thigh allowing indirect or direct air onto your skin. Along with zippers on the bottom for boots or more air on the lower calf.

However the material seems thin, and one of my fellow riders question if they will hold up well in a crash. The major downside is they aren't waterproof. Went riding in the rain, and started to feel wet in my crotch. When i got home and took off the pants, my GF asked if i had peed myself. My pants were very wet, I'm a little disappointed in these pants. My johnny rocket jacket that i started out with were more waterproof than these pants.

If you don't live in a rainny part of the world they are a great pair of pants. However if you do live somewhere that rains, prepare to look like you just wet yourself/
