One of the best purchases I've ever made
I had an Alpinestars armoured leather jacket that lasted me ten years, until I had an accident last year. I had a nasty concussion and can't remember what happened, but the jacket fully protected me. I wore it in every kind of weather, even on a short jaunt on the bike. Always wearing it meant I actually had it on when it was randomly needed. :)

I looked far and wide for a replacement. The Razon caught my eye from the get go. I checked out many other jackets first hand in stores. Jackets like the Mike and Bryan were nice and all, but I could immediately tell the leather was no match to the tutu leather on my original Alpinestars jacket, nor was the armour. Other more armoured jackets offered excellent protection, but were extemely bulky, non discrete, not fashionable in a casual sense, and really couldn't be used in hot weather.

I've just received my Razon though, and it really is everything I wanted in a jacket. The quality of the leather is fantastic, and it just looks killer, even as a casual jacket. On the other hand the protection and armour are excellent, and the combination of vents and liner mean it's useable year round in my opinion. In combination with my heated vest, it'll even be good down to the 20's. The fact the jacket is useable in all scenario's is what makes this the ideal jacket for me. It means I'll wear it all the time, and so it'll be ready if it's ever needed in an emergency again.

I'm 5'6", have a 43" chest, am muscular and slightly overweight. The size 54 fit me perfectly, even with the liner and back protector installed. A little snug at the waist, but it'll be perfect once I'm back to my normal frame.

The collar is a 'little' wide, but it actually doesn't bother me at all.

I really hope they continue making this jacket, it's getting harder to find. I haven't found anything else remotely on par with it to be honest, so grab it while you can.

Great jacket no surprises
Great all around jacket. It fits, feels, and looks high quality. I'm 5'9 180 athletic build and I fit perfectly into a size 52, it's definitely a true euro fit so I probably would have been good in a 54 if I was looking for a little more room which is why I marked it as fitting a little small, but that's more about preference.

Pros
High quality materials
Great european feel and fit
Looks great off the bike
Armor is in all the right spots and does not cause any discomfort

Cons
Now I can't go back to wearing anything cheaper

Great cool weather jacket.
I did not purchase from Revzilla, since I happened to see one in person, but love the website and the company's agenda. I feel that a review of this jacket is in order.

It's expensive, BUT:

It's an impressive cool/cold weather jacket. The liner is SUPER WARM and TOASTY! I've worn it in the 40s and 50s, with just a T-shirt on and the liner. It's incredibly warm and plush and super comfy. I feel like I'm wrapped in a nice duvet!

Looks great, the leather is TOP NOTCH. The attention to detail is typical Dainese.
Fit is good, but it's not a race-cut, it's a little more of a casual yet tight italian cut.
The sleeves are a little short for me.
I'm 5'10, 167lbs, with a trim/athletic build. I'm a size 39-40 US jacket and got a size 50 Dainese. It could be tighter in the body, but with the liner in, the 50 is perfect.
Without the liner there is extra room even with the G2 back protector, and I could go down to a size 48, but the sleeve length would suffer.

Overall, this is an incredible piece. It's beautiful, fits well, is super comfy and warm, and would recommend it. Sleeves could have an extra 1/2"....but Dainese makes gauntlet gloves to cover/protect/armor your wristbone.

Not sure how it is in hot weather, or with vents open, as it hasn't been warm enough yet.
Get it, it looks really really great, and is comfy with the back protector in as well.

Great moto jacket
I have the Dainese air flux perforated jacket and pants. Needed something more robust for fall, early spring and winter. Did heaps of research and decided on the Razon. Major issues deciding on the size. I'm 6' 1", 180 lbs and couldn't decide between 56 and 54. Wore the 56 around the house and it seemed a big. After reading the reviews went with 54. It's awesome. Stylish, protective and warm plus goes with my bike.

Quality, understated jacket
After an extensive search on this website for a leather jacket and pants (Pony), I settled on the Razon. I would have preferred some of the features (shoulder stretch panels) included in the race oriented jackets. But I also wanted a zip-out insulated liner. My main aversion to the other jackets considered was the prominence of the logos.

The size 52 jacket fits nice-- I'm 6'0, 185 lbs. Because it's new, it's a little restrictive (stiff) when riding my '96 Guzzi 1100 Sport, but I expect it to break-in after more use. On my other more upright sport-touring bikes it feels fine.

Negatives:
1. Those short stitched areas emphasizing the openings (pockets) that Anthony demonstrates in the video as a design feature are a disadvantage. Yes, they allow you to find the opening, but they prevent the zipper from closing easily. This is because the side of the zipper closest to that added stitch gets "derailed". You need to use 2 hands to close it while pulling and stretching everything parallel. Awkward.

2. The zipper pulls are not "self-centering" on the zipper mechanism. This is because they have a (too) large square base causing them to get occasionally misaligned.

3. The removable liner is attached from 2 points at the bottom of each sleeve. One point uses a loop retainer. The other a direct snap from the liner to the inside leather sleeve. The liner also has a functional tight-fitting elastic cuff. This makes it difficult to remove your hand without pulling the snap apart when taking the jacket off.

4. No back protector or foam insert (pocket provided) is included so you need to consider this when evaluating the fit.

All things considered I do like the jacket. I wanted to point out weaknesses that aren't apparent in the promotional video.

Amazing
OK, this is a premature 1 day review, and may be I am blown away by the size and the fit - but this jacket rocks! Comfortable to ride in, close fit, I feel secure while riding.

1 The shade is more subdued than the flashy shiny picture shown on this page. The jacket is more sober, watch the video to get a better feel.
2. For New England weather you may want to account for the inner liner when you buy. I went up a size (e.g. i can fit in 52, but went 54 due to the inner lining). The lining keeps the jacket well formed and secure.
3. Didnt feel the need to break it in. Feels good as is.

I havent added a g2 pad yet but there is enough space to add suitable protection if you need it. Will add more in a couple of months.

style and safety: what's not to love?
I am an Australian customer and as well as being totally impressed with the quick delivery time, the quality of this product is outstanding. Although we have dainese jackets in Oz I have never seen one like the Razon (more lurid ones, yes!). I was a little concerned as my other two Dainese jackets are size 52 and I chanced on a 50 as available at the time. The fit is perfect, and the insulation of the inner removable thermal lining is keeping me perfectly warm in a cold Oz winter in a TShirt - I have to wear a sweater under my size 52 winter jacket. Beautiful style, luxuriant leather...as you may gather, I love it!!

great jacket!
I wasn't sure I would like this jacket but when I got it I was very impressed. The quality, texture and thickness of the leather is excellent. It fits great and has very good range of motion. I receive compliments on its looks often too.

Great Jacket
If you like the look of this jacket online, you'll love it when you see it. I've ridden in this jacket during your typical New England winter for about four months and have found the jacket to be plenty warm enough with the lining. I bought the size 58 (I'm 5' 11", 210 LBS, 42" chest, 18" neck#. The armor fits well and is barely noticeable. I'm not a big fan of the material used on the inner arms and would prefer full leather since breathability isn't important to me for the time of year that I'm using this jacket. The collar could button a bit tighter as well #I have a fairly large neck, so I wouldn't expect such a loose fitting collar#. But these are minor issues - this is an awesome jacket, both in appearance and functionality. Lastly, this is going to sound strange, but this is the best smelling jacket I've ever encountered...not sure what it is, but it smells great, IMO.

Great jacket with minor issues
Fit: I'm 5'8, 200 lbs. I wear size 42 suit jackets. Waist size 36 for jeans, 38 for dress pants. My size in this jacket is 54.

The waist on this jacket is a bit snug, even when compared to other Dainese model (Avro textile, for instance).

The front armpit seems are somewhat constricting. Not enough to restrict bloodflow but enough to notice. I'm hoping the leather will break in and stretch out a bit.

Ventilation is good - I was riding this past weekend in 11-Celsius weather and had the close the vents. How well it will fare it warmer weather is yet to be seen.

Warmth: solid. Wore it with the liner, a t-shirt and a thin merino wool sweater and was just right (again, 11-Celsius weather = 52F).

The leather is amazing, the style is classic yet somewhat aggressive and the details are sweet (reflective logos, zippers, gaiters, snaps, etc).

The style will go with any kind of bike - perfect for a newbie rider like me who isn't sure what style of bike I'll end up with long-term. For now it's a Suzuki Bandit but I bought this jacket knowing it'll look just as good on a Bonneville or a Sportser.

Minor complaint: asymmetrical armor should be labeled left and right. I removed the pads without paying attention to which side was which... Not the end of the world but for a company priding itself on the small details, this is one you'd think they would've addressed.

Overall solid jacket that is worth a full 5/5 if it were sub-$400.
