Warm & Stylish
The Knightsbridge is a decent jacket for the fall/winter/early spring, but it is not optimal for the other seasons. Although there is a removable thermal liner inside, removing it causes the jacket to lose its shape, and look awkward and baggy on the body. For this reason, I don't remove the liner.

The collar, despite its two buttons for varying neck sizes, does not fully prevent wind from blowing on you. The front does, but if one is leaned forward, the collar will allow air to flow from behind your neck, down your back. Thus, using this jacket on a naked bike at highway speeds is not advised.

The two front pockets are decent for use, but are difficult to close if one places anything bulky in them. An iPhone 6 does not fit will; standing up it will form a slant, preventing you from quickly pressing down the button, whereas putting it on its side is difficult as the pocket is barely wide enough.

The inside pocket, woven into the thermal liner, is the better spot for an iPhone 6, but once zipped/buttoned or just buttoned, you cannot pull your phone out. Also, the pocket has an obnoxious velcro, where you must force it open with your hand to place something in the pocket. Unnecessary, in my opinion, because you will never be so sideways or upside down, that your items will fall out (unless you crash, but then you have bigger problems).

The jacket is long, so if your riding jeans flare out from behind, even with a belt, then this jacket will cover it.

The jacket is beautifully waterproof. I have ridden with it in the rain, and have not gotten wet at all.

My largest complaint is the lack of pockets to put your hands in. For such a warm jacket, it makes little sense not to design a cozy spot for cold hands, considering the cold weather it was designed for.

The two diagonal pockets are finicky with the zipper and hard to utilize properly.

The two inside pockets not on the thermal liner are good.

The buttons on the sleeves work well enough. I wear Alpinestars SP-8s, and they fit over the jacket, with the button fasted on the third peg, or under, with the normal fastening.

This jacket looks good with a pair of jeans, or really just about any pair of pants, if your get the black one. The Dianese logo on the arm, as well as other embellishments, are subtle and tasteful, and overall the jacket is very restrained/mature and therefore attractive, if that's your style.

I haven't used the waist tighteners, but they don't seem to be easy to pull in or loosen. Also a tad finicky.

As mentioned earlier, you can use the zipper inside, and then the button it, or just button it and allow air to flow through the button gaps into your jacket. It is an execellent vent, however, I do suspect the safety of the jacket is compromised. In the event of a fall, if only the buttons are keeping the jacket in place around your body, then it is likely that it will come off in someway.

Speaking of safety, the jacket, as mentioned by another review, has CE level 1 gel armor in the elbows and shoulders. If they're CE level 1, then that's what you get, regardless of your perception of its safety. You cannot tell the armor is there.

I use the Dianese G2 back armor, and aside from creating a slight hump on your back, it is also discrete. It is easy to put the back armor in or take it out.

When walking around the city with the jacket opened, it stays in place in this peculiar but amusing way, with the high collar resting alongside your chin. The collar can be folded down to look normal, but I purposely do not do this, because it looks okay floating about my face.

To conclude, buy this jacket for cold/coldish weather city use. Brown/black shoes, jeans and belt, some sweater over a shirt, and this jacket will blend in perfectly. Not the most protective, so avoid continual use in high speeds. Make sure once you're off the bike, you will enter a heated building soon, because as I said, no pockets for warming your hands.

Don't be fooled, it has no "armor"
Pro shape armor baked in eh? Just opened the box and put the jacket on and immediately thought someone forgot to include the armor. "Maybe they fell out. Or maybe I had to buy it separately?" Nope. Do you have those rubber mats in your kitchen cupboard that cushion your cups and bowls? That's basically what this armor is. Why even call this a motorcycle jacket? Seriously I have no idea why. It's a jacket. Like any jacket you could buy at any clothing store. So why did I just spend $300 for this? Alas I'm going to have to return it and save up for the carve master or something else that's actually a motorcycle jacket (to me that means a jacket that will PROTECT me in a motorcycle crash). Maybe I'll just stick to my current leather jacket (speed naked perf) and buy a cover for it. Don't buy this one.
