Awsome jacket.
First let me say I bought this jacket because I work nights and during the spring and fall during the commute to work and home the tempreatures I ride in a little bit colder and I wanted something to cover my uniform, keep me warm but still have a jacket that I could ride in all day after it warms up. I've done about a month in the jacket and racked up about 1500 miles. Been in the rain, and light flurries with it as well as days up in to the 80s (mother nature is drunk). I've found it flows enough air on the hot days to keep you pretty cool and if it's colder below say 55 even with the liner I find that it flows a little bit to much air through the front zipper, a beefier jacket is required for colder weather. It's seems to deal with water very well, when I was caught int he rain, the only part of my shirt that was wet was the part that touched my pants.Fit wise it very form fitting, I'm pretty slender so I like the snug fit, but my one complaint is the torso seem a little short for me. I have a pretty tall torso and I find the jacket sits jut even with the top of my belt line, in the front, when standing of sitting upright, which inst much a problem only. In a riding position it sits very nice. The shoulders, chest and arms are spot on. The liner works very well, but it doesn't seem to stop the air from coming in from the front zipper. The zippers them selves feel a little cheap, and I've had some difficulty getting the front zipper to thread but so far they've held up and are easy to work when riding and wearing gloves. I also have the wave in the back and it fits very nicely. I don't even feel it when I wear it and the only time I've noticed it is when I sit in a chair while I wearing the jacket. Over all I'm very happy with it.

Very pleased overall!
I had originally purchased the Dianese Spedio in a 48 and it felt a little tight in the chest and the removable waterproof liner just didn't seem like that great of a solution compared to a waterproof overjacket so I returned it and bought the Crono in a 50. I have roughly a 39 inch chest. With the G2 back protector and just a t-shirt on there's a touch of space but it doesn't feel large--the shoulder armour is where it needs to be. With the thermal liner zipped in, the sizing feels spot on and I suspect for spring/fall riding I'll be quite pleased I went with the 50. The thermal liner is substantial and very comfortable by the way.

The zippers have small teeth and initially were on the fussy side but they are smoothing out with use. The shoulder armour can get in the way when putting it on. Improved technique has alleviated that.

So far I've only used it in the mid 50s to low 90s temperature range (sans thermal liner) here in the front range of Colorado. Its "crisp" in the morning at the low end, warm in the afternoon at the high end provided you're rolling, approaching unbearably warm at a stop. With the liner and more than a t-shirt, I'd bet mid 40s would be possible. I would call the air flow minimal with the vents open.

I've matched this jacket with the New Drake Air Textile Pants. I'm a fan of being able to zip them together.

The only jacket I wore
After I picked up the Crono I stopped wearing the other jackets in my closet. The fit is right on. I'm 5'7" and 155 and bought a size 50, which fit like a glove. After I lost ten pounds, the waist straps let me tighten it down and in the cooler months wear another layer. The airflow in the summer was ok, but I opted to wear it instead of my First Gear mesh jacket for the superior protection. When I had my crash the armor, including the optional back protector, kept me well insulated from the road. Definitely a solid choice and well worth the price tag.

Good mix of style and protection.
I got this to fill my need for a good city commuter jacket at a reasonable price with real armor and not a ton of flashy logos... good all of that but it could still stand to lose a few more logos. Works good in fair weather conditions from 40 degrees to about 80. I'd put the liner in while riding when it gets colder than 55, otherwise the jacket works great on its own. Air flow from the vents works better than I expected, though only when you're moving, obviously. Rode in a few light rains and it kept me mostly dry, even though its not exactly ment to be used in such conditions. I'm 5'-10" 150lbs and size 50 fits great.

Excellent choice for this price
I'll say up front that i'm new to riding and that this is my first jacket. I read many reviews of it and this one will more or less confirm other things that have been said.

The jacket looks great- not too aggressive/sporty, but definitely leans that direction.

It fits somewhat snugly with the shoulder armor, but i feel that the sizing Dainese provides is accurate. I mostly ride with only the elbow armor in to keep the shoulders/back more relaxed fitting.

The liner has been good for chilly mornings down to about 50, and I bet you could push it a little lower with a decent shirt on.

All in all, I am very pleased with the quality and offerings of this jacket, especially for the price. I'd recommend!

Great economic armored textile jacket!
Size - 6'2 180 lbs

Ordered a size 52 and it fits me really well. I have some pretty gangly arms so I'm used to having jackets that don't cover my wrists but this one covers everything! Super comfy as well - sometimes I forget I'm wearing it on longer rides. Also purchased a Dainese Shield Air G that slips right into the back pocket and covers almost all of my back.

PROS:

Great price
Great fit
Decent airflow
Good armor

CON:

Shoulder armor doesn't stay put all the time - sometimes I have to readjust them to sit right after putting the jacket on. Minor 15 second inconvenience.

Quality and Features only Dainese can Offer
I am 5'8" 178 Athletic Built, chest measures 44", and it fits perfect, however the belly part is more spacious that the sport cut...you could say "American", Airflow is doable in the summer due to the front two intakes and rear two exhaust, however over 80-85F, you will need to keep moving! (ence doable) the quality is superb ..it's a Dainese!!! there is no better manufacture equipment of motorcycle gear,....and the liner comes in handy in the chilly mornings...You will love this jacket!

Excellent jacket
I bought this as my first jacket and it is awesome. It is great in Spring and Fall with the thermal liner and in Summer without it (although in REALLY hot days, you might get warm. The quality, as you would expect from Dainese, is great and the protections are solid, not some plastic things that easily break.
However, although I love the looks and specs of it, I'll sell it blecaute the fit is not confortable for me. Shoulders, arms and back is fine but I find the jacket short in height (it is a sporty cut) and I don't like it.. I ride a Honda NC700X and the position doesn't match with the cut. Maybe if you ride a sport bike, it well fit you perfectly.
As I've said, although I don't feel confortable in it, I would absolutely recommend this jacket. It's awesome.

Dainese Crono Textile Jacket
I have had the jacket for over a year now. I got a blue and white color scheme, gets dirty quick but if you keep on the cleaning I am sure it will stay new looking. After about 15 mins in the rain it starts to soak through and will dry over night. The liner is very helpful when riding in lower 40 degrees and is easy to remove. The armor is nice and stays in place, just doesn't come with a spine protector. Over all I have no issues with it in cold or hot weather and feel it does the job I am looking for.

Note: Zipper some times sticks when trying to remove.

Dainese Crono Textile Jacket
i bought ths as a replacement for an alpinestars tg-p pro air after a wicked get-off.

after my mistake of not buying a proper back protector for the alpinestars and breaking my back in 7 places i bought the forcefield ce level 2 insert for the dianese.

the jacket fits as expected and even with the back insert still fits comfortably.

construction seems very good. the material and over all construction is very good as you would expect from a brand like dianese.

i would recommend this as a great textile jacket.
