Good price and functionality. I didn't want a jacket for every few months of the year.
VMRAIDER74 on Aug 24, 2017
Excellent price on a great jacket.

Good price and functionality. I didn't want a jacket for every few months of the year.
VMRAIDER74 on Aug 24, 2017
Previous one was demolished in bike accident. I liked it and how it worked. Plus, my back armor is still good so I'll just get another good riding jacket and reinstall. Good stuff, kept me alive and barely touched in a 177 ft slide on concrete.
Adam A on Aug 7, 2017
Excellent price on a great jacket.
David H on Jul 4, 2017
This has been a great jacket which has held up very well. I get a small amount of water leakage thru the front zipper and overlapping flap (either internal or external) would have been a better design.
James C on Jan 3, 2017
sotha h on Dec 21, 2016
I owned a previous version of this jacket and liked the way it fit.
William T on Nov 5, 2016
Great closeout deal.
Bryon T on Sep 7, 2016
Great first riding jacket
Joseph N on Sep 3, 2016
I love this jacket. I wear it in temps down to the 20's in the winter with the liner and my normal wear. Decently water proof although, the outside pockets do let moisture in, so be careful storing your cell phone in them when its raining. Definitely a 3 season jacket and not that great for the summer. Not meant for my Texas summers anyway. I've got another jacket for that though. I wouldn't wear it in temps 90+.
Richard C on Aug 22, 2016
My 1st Jacket
Sean W on Aug 19, 2016
Good Quality, Good Price
Scott L on Jul 19, 2016
Nice jacket, fits great. I'm 5'10" and 275lbs. The quality feels good. The back pad is just a piece of foam but that's to be expected at this price point. I would buy another cortech without hesitation.
Rodney A on Jul 9, 2016
Good looking jacket. The color I wanted. Good features, including being waterproof. Looks like it will be comfortable, but I will not know until it arrives.
Richard D on Jul 6, 2016
It was on Closeout sale. :)
Eric T on Jul 5, 2016
I purchased this jacket because i needed a cool weather jacket. Its good for fall, early winter and spring riding. Lots of protection, but its not a warm weather jacket.
Thomas m on Jun 17, 2016
my local stores had limited choice and few jackets that offered the versatility of this jacket.
Andy C on May 4, 2016
Looks like a great all season jacket that I can wear in Northern Michigan. I liked the design and the price was on close-out so I did not pass on the opportunity. I will be commuting to work and some free riding on the roads. Safety was a big concern to I chose yellow for higher viz. I also chose this over mesh hoping it is more protective, but I did not want to spend the money for a full leather jacket.
Bradley H on Apr 27, 2016
Affordable, good reviews, stylish.
BlueSVBandit on Apr 13, 2016
Very pleased with the quality and fit of this jacket. It has excellent zippers, tough materials construction, and nice zip/ velcro closure to the cuffs. I also like the fact that the high-vis portion is not overdone. The XXL fit my stocky 48 chest well. Enough room for the liner, a T shirt and a sweatshirt. The jacket also arrived 3 days after I ordered it and was well packed in a sturdy box.
Ross H on Apr 8, 2016
I chose the Hi-viz option because it looked good while it would seem to provide more visibility as well.
Wesley T on Feb 21, 2016
I was looking for a cold weather jacket. The Cortech GX Sport 3.0 is excellent at blocking cold air. I wish the collar came up higher on the front of my neck, but I am able to overcome the problem with a neck gator.
Mansel G on Feb 21, 2016
Great style, comfort and function. Couldn't beat the great closeout price!
Brian J on Feb 10, 2016
features, price and reputation. Fit is good, but is a little tight in my forearms. Could be those 25 years as a carpenter - I don't know. I'm very impressed with it's cold weather capabilities. I went out riding in 45 degrees for 1 1/2 hours with the liner and short sleeve underneath and was cozy. Riding my sons1999 CBR600 F4 but will be getting 2014 - 2015 FJR 1300 in April.
scott p on Jan 17, 2016
Needed a warmer weather jacket as all of mine push a lot of air and don't work in 40'ish degree weather.
ADawg on Dec 16, 2015
One of the best jackets out there. Plus I have the Air model already.
Tim B on Dec 9, 2015
Beginner Rider and the reviews of this product seemed really great.
Brandon H on Dec 1, 2015
I chose this because of the waterproof liner that's "baked" in as well as the reflective aspects for my commutes which may involve riding into the evening hours. Most importantly, it matches my Black Icon Airmada Volare. :)
DevilDoc on Oct 29, 2015
I wanted a new jacket to extend my late fall and winter riding. The thermal liner and style of the jacket is what sold me on the GX 3.0. I called and spoke with a rep for some additional feedback and confirmed my choice for the Cortech GX 3.0 jacket. Thanks Revzilla, knocked it out of the park again!!!!
ryan g on Oct 20, 2015
I wanted a protective, hi viz jacket for temps down to the 30s, and I like that it's waterproof and has a decent amount of pockets.
Cesare57 on Oct 14, 2015
Should be a good multi-season jacket for my climate, good bang-for-the-buck rating, will match my Hi-Viz helmet nicely
Paul H on Oct 14, 2015
I had seen it before at a bike show and tried it on. I was impressed with the look, the fit and the features. Good value overall. Venting is decent but I bought a mesh jacket as well so I'm not looking to wear this in really hot weather anyway. So far it's done well in the medium to warm temperatures I've ridden in, both with the liner in and out. I'm quite pleased with it thus far. I got the black hi vis cuz I have this thing about being seen and I think it looks fantastic.
Scott H on Aug 17, 2015
It matches my motorcycles color, multi season, wanted to try a textile jacket, price and features better than competition
Jack H on Aug 16, 2015
Nice color, hopefully matches my 2015 FZ-07's Blurple wheels.
Y A on Aug 16, 2015
Cortech features and quality. I also wanted a Hi-Viz jacket and loved the styling on this one.
B B on Aug 4, 2015
This is my first riding jacket. This jacket had the style and features I was looking for, and at a decent price.
Robert H on Feb 26, 2015
good reviews and need a good multi season jacket
julio R on Feb 1, 2015
Hi-Viz, waterproof, armoured, zip out liner, price, more stylish than a leather vest
J E on Oct 6, 2014
comfortable all year around jacket.
Ramandeep S on Aug 31, 2014
I read a lot of reviews plus seeing the video review on RevZilla (Great information and seeing it on a person helps) influenced my decision to purchase this jacket. I could have gotten the jacket a few bucks less but your site, free shipping and return policy is more than worth a couple of bucks.
George D on Jul 18, 2014
price and protection
Carter M on Jul 9, 2014
Multi-Season jacket with Hi-Viz that hopefully has a generous cut as described
Ellen D on May 20, 2014
Price point, better than local retail store and free shipping.
Jonathan K on Apr 20, 2014
I needed a spring and fall riding jacket that blocks out the early morning and evening cold air and also in case a quick shower happens while riding. I like the color pattern and the collar design. And it having Hi-Viz features are a plus.
Luis V on Apr 5, 2014
It's a great jacket , it's warm and comfortable .......and fit well ,I have 40" chest .......I ordered a MD size......
Anthony B on Jan 28, 2014
The price, design and versatility of this jacket. For the price, this jacket offers every thing I was looking for at a budget. I've been riding with it for a couple months and it's all it's cracked up to be. I love this jacket.
RICARDO D on Jan 2, 2014
Looked really cool and functional
Rick P on Dec 14, 2013
Wanted something reasonably windproof/waterproof
David G on Dec 9, 2013
Just enough hi viz material to increase safety without looking like a glow worm. Mandarin collar is more comfortable for guys with thicker necks.
Paul S on Oct 24, 2013
Looked great for the price
Matthew G on Oct 1, 2013
I was looking for a street jacket with some armor, breathable material, and the ability to ride at least 3 seasons. The Cortech GX Sport 3.0 matched all of these qualities at a great price point.
M I on Sep 16, 2013

James C on Jan 3, 2017
If I wanted to upgrade the back protection, which back protector would fit the Cortech GX Sport 3.0 Jacket?
A shopper on May 31, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Oder this one : KLIM D3O VIPER T5 PRO BACK PROTECTOR. It is a better grade of protector and you cut it to fit. It was recommended by revzilla staff to me and works great!
Is there yellow on the back of the hi viz and hi viz/black?
A shopper on Oct 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I purchased the Blk/HiViz model and yes the HiViz design color does carry over to the back side.
What sizes of back armor fit in this jacket?
A shopper on Jan 22, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The armor it comes with measures 12" wide at the base, and 19 1/2" top to bottom.
Is this a two liner or three liner coat? And why choose this coat over the mesh version?
A shopper on Aug 9, 2013
BEST ANSWER: This is actually a single liner jacket. The wind/water proof liner is sewn into the jacket, making the quilted liner the only one that is removable. I personally had the same question about whether or not to buy this one or the mesh version. I bought this one because where I live, it can get pretty chilly at night, even in the summer, at highway speeds and don't want to always bring a backpack to carry the windproof liner with me where ever I go. It can get pretty hot during the hottest days of the summer, but I just ride with an Under Armor compression top to keep the sweat off of me and I stay pretty cool that way.
can this jacket be cleaned?
Murray W on Jul 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes. All the pads are removable and as the tag inside the jacket suggests I have machine washed this jacket in cold water. I hung it out to dry instead of machine drying it though.
does this jacket get too hot in 90+ degree weather?
A C on Jan 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have yet to try the jacket in hot weather. I have written it with the liner in and a short sleeve in 45 degree weather for an hour and a half and it was just fine. The liner does block most if not all of the venting so I can't wait to try it with warmer weather without the liner. Love the jacket but in the future I plan on getting into longer distance riding which means I would like to get another jacket with a higher collar. The second jacket would serve me in late fall early winter so I could load up on sweatshirt or sweater underneath the jacket. Mandarin collars are sporty and they look cool right up to the point where that junebug hit you in the neck doing about 80 for your caught in a driving rain and it feels like someone shooting at your neck with a BB gun. All kidding aside I love the jacket and upgraded the back armor
Does the torso length increase in the tall sizes? The size chart states a sleeve length increase, but nothing about the torso.
A shopper on May 23, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I've tried on a Large and XL, and did not notice an appreciable difference in torso length. it does seem to be more of a sport-shorty type jacket than a longer adventure winter type jacket. I have other Alpinestar and Moose jackets (winter/summer) and must say the quality of this Cortech jacket is better and very well constructed. This is my favorite jacket, and I wear it up to 80 degree days with vents open if I must, and with the liner in I can wear it down to 30 degrees, etc. It's worth trying on and checking out to get the right size for you.
I am conflicted about which size to order. I am 5'9" (69 inches), my chest is 37 inches, my waist is about 34 inches, and arm length is about 25.5 inches. Should I order a medium or a small size?
Chintan D on Aug 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I am a bit bigger, 6 ft 235 lbs. I would suggest the bigger size. The arms and shoulder area may have a littletter play by the chest and waist should be good. The one great thing is the revzilla return process If you need to change size. Hope this helps
Hey, I want to know if this jacket and run a size bigger or is it the exact fit?
Lodrick W on Mar 15, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Exact fit. Great Jacket
Is this jacket fully waterproof from the outter shell to the inner liner?
looking for something that I can use on my dailly commute.
A shopper on May 9, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Just got caught in the rain the other day with my jacket with the inner liner removed. Was soaked from head to toe except from my neck down to my waist. It's waterproof!
