Crash Tested
This is the first pair of riding jeans that I bought and I'm so glad I made the investment. First off, the protection is great and they saved my legs during a high-side a few weeks after I bought them. Other than being a bit dusty, you would never know I was in a crash while wearing them.

The comfort is also excellent. I also purchased the hip and knee armor with the jeans and they fit perfectly. On the bike, the knee armor stays in the right spot and is very comfortable. Off the bike, the knee armor is a bit uncomfortable due to it being positioned low, but that's a minor complaint. The hip armor could also be positioned a bit higher in general. The fit on the jeans is similar to Levis 513 in my opinion and is not overly slim or tight even with the armor. The first time I wore the jeans, my girlfriend wasn't able to tell I was wearing armored motorcycle jeans. I'm 5'8'', 160lbs, and normally wear a 30x30, the 30x32 fit spot on and the couple extra inches of length keeps my riding shoes covered when i'm on the bike.

Overall, I cannot recommend these jeans enough!

Stylish yet protective, and reasonably affordable. FINALLY!
Let me start off by saying that I am absolutely, totally, astounded by the near-complete lack of stylish yet competent riding jeans at an affordable price point. I just really do not understand how so many brands can be producing such an array of terribly styled products. There are plenty of reasonably priced jeans that have acceptable protective features, but SO MANY of them have silly styling cues, weird cuts, outrageous logos, or other hideousness. When I buy riding jeans, I want them to look like JEANS. Isn't that kind of the whole point of riding jeans, as a category? If I wanted fancy logos, weird stitching, colorful accents, or quirky styling cues, I'd buy textile or leather motorcycle pants. All I want is plain, simple, normal looking stylish jeans that happen to have a protective lining.

Finally, these pants seem to hit the mark. The slim cut is slim enough to be stylish but not skin-huggingly embarrassing. The material looks and feels like the type of quality denim you'd expect in nice designer jeans. There aren't any weird logos or strange stitching, other than the stupid bull logo on the back patch, which you can cover up with a belt (although I may just cut it off). The pale denim trim on the watch pocket and rear pocket are questionable but pretty understated, so they're OK in my book. I nearly purchased the Scorpion Covert Pro jeans, but I wanted something slimmer cut, and honestly, I just couldn't get over the stupid stylized "S" stitching across the rear pocket on the Scorpions.

The waist is fairly true to size, if a tiny bit big, but that should make them fit similar to most vanity sized jeans people are used to buying off the shelf. One thing to note - these are fairly high-waisted jeans. If you're used to wearing low rise jeans, these will seem very high. I appreciate the concept though, they should give extra protection in a fall if my jacket rides up a bit. Length-wise, I've got stubby legs, so I normally do a 30" inseam, which isn't available in these. No big deal, I bought the 32" length and cuffed the bottom.

My only true complaint - when I put them on, the velcro for the knee armor dug in to my skin. Like, really bad. I wore them around the house for 10 minutes and had to take them off, with thoughts of returning them. No way could I ride in these things. I took a close look at the velcro and realized that the stitching had pulled little individual bristles of the hard plastic "hook" texture through the velcro backing in 7 or 8 places. I got some fingernail clippers and spent 10 minutes finding and clipping off the hooks that were poking through, and now there's absolutely no issue whatsoever.

These are HEAVY jeans, the protective lining covers a lot more than on some other jeans, and it's a very thick material. This is reassuring but I'm expecting they'll be a bit warm in traffic in the middle of the summer. Small price to pay to stay safe and yet retain some degree of style.

My other current pair of jeans are AGV Alloy jeans. The solid, deep blue on these make them a nice alternative since those are only available in a highly distressed look. I also feel like the protective liner on these is more substantial.

All in all, I like these. I can wear them on the bike, and then go in to my workplace or a restaurant without having to change my pants, yet I have some degree of protection. I really wish there were more options, and I wish the market was priced a little more reasonably, but I'll take what I can get.

Excellent Riding Jeans
After being tired of swimming in my Scorpion Covert Jeans, and having a pair of Icon 1000 Royal Drive pants split at the seams (not in a crash either) I decided that I was in the market for a pair of riding jeans. I wanted something that was not too baggy, that I could get away with wearing on and off the bike, and that I was reasonably sure would offer me reasonable protection in case the worse should happen. In the end it came down to these and the Dianese D1 Evo Jeans. I chose these based on some of the videos of their durability.

The fit on these is a little funny. They are a slim fit, and I am satisfied with how the legs fit, but the waist is a bit big. Also, I have to be careful not to catch my feet on the lining when I take them off or I'm afraid I might tear the lining. I also have to be careful how I align the velcro in the knee pad pockets or it gets scratchy. All in all though they are quite comfortable and the denim is very soft.

The matching hip and knee armour was not available when I bought these, but I had a set of Klim D3O T5 Evo Pro XT knee pads and Klim D3O hip pads that fit the jeans just fine.

All in all I recommend these jeans wholeheartedly.

Good pair of Jeans!
...been through a lot of riding jeans recently... since I commute to work everyday, and am usually getting on the highway, I like feeling comfy in my protective gear, but also like just looking normal when I get there.. or going out after work to a show or a bar to meet friends. As far as I can tell, these jeans sport more "kevlar" then most other jeans for sale here, and also come ready for armor in both the knee and hip areas (armor sold separately). they also are sub 200 dollars! and my personal fav... they don't really have those big stitch lines all over the front of the jeans... these look pretty much just like regular old jeans. not as "premium" a product as the really nice pair of Rev It jeans I own, but much better looking in my opinion

Very happy with the purchase.
Took me awhile to find jeans that fit skinny but also had proper protection. These definitely fit the bill. They aren't as slim as I typically wear jeans but they are slim enough that I still feel stylish. The added length allows me to cuff them but still keep my boots covered. Overall they are super comfy my only complaint is they get a little warm both on the bike and while off running errands etc.. . That may just be part of wearing proper riding jeans though. I also live in the south so theres that.

Baggy High-Rise Waist, Poorly Designed Belt Loops
I'm 5' 10", 165 lbs, and I normally wear a 32x30 pants. I ordered the size 32x32 slim jeans.

I really wanted to love these pants, as it fit great through the thighs and legs, and offers Cordura denim and even better Kevlar coverage than some of the more expensive brands.

The waistline is very strange though and I just couldn't get comfortable no matter how I positioned them.

First, the waist sits very high and is extremely baggy. With the pants pulled up between the navel and hip, there was at least 4-5 inches of extra room at the very top of the waist. I could fit my entire fist between my back and the jeans. But simply sizing down might not work because it's a strange fit where the waist tapers and it almost feels like there is a second tighter waistband a few inches down from the top of the pants.

In addition to the strange fit, the hip armor sits way too low unless you give your man parts a wedgie.

The belt loops are practically useless. Fully tightened, you can move the belt buckle up and down freely because the first two notches are so far apart. In the rear, despite the high-rise, the pants always seem to make their way under the belt.

My search for a straight/slim pair of riding jeans continues...

Almost like regular jeans, and cut right
Like everyone, I found my leathers a bit much for a short ride on a warm day, but having broken bones and lost skin in the past, regular jeans are not gonna cut it. As a fairly slim guy (5'10.5" and 170 pounds) who runs and cycles, I don't want to wear big ol' baggies: I usually wear Italian jeans for the fit.

I ordered a 32x32, as I normally wear a 31 or 32 waist and 32 inseam. Fit very well: not skin-tight but pretty snug. The lining makes them pretty warm, but it's not scratchy at all. The knee protection sits in just the right place, and while riding they don't go too plumber-crack, and they're a decent length.

I hope to never know their crash resistance, but now I can ride with a little more confidence that I won't lose a lot of skin in a fall, and won't be stared at when off the bike.

Stylish, but with some drawbacks
First pair of riding jeans, was definitely expecting them to be more comfortable than they were.

Pros:
Super stylish, nice slim fit but still made me look like I'd put on 20 pounds due to the bulkiness you can't seem to get away from in reinforced jeans. Considering I'm a pretty skinny guy, I don't mind, but definitely something to consider if you're on the chunkier side, especially if you're planning to wear them as commuter pants (i.e. in the office all day after riding to work in them). Standard storage - they're a pair of jeans for pete's sake, they've got pretty much all the storage you could want, although I will say the fact that they're bulky while trying to look slim does make it hard to get stuff out of your pockets. If you're sitting and need to get something out of your pocket, forget it. They accept knee and hip armor, and do not come with any.

Cons:
Where to begin? I live on the gulf coast of Florida, definitely ranking high in the most hot/humid climates in America. These jeans are heavy and HOT. Definitely trying to adhere to ATGATT, but I'll take a pair of overpants any day over these. They're not super comfy, and I have to say after wearing them for a whole day my hips kind of ache from the pressure of the hip armor (I use D3O inserts). The biggest con for me is the fact that the placement of the knee armor pouches is just comically high. I'm not sure who Bull-It designed these pants for, but whoever it was had ridiculously long shins compared to their thighs. When I put D3O knee armor in the pouches and sit down, my knee doesn't slide nicely into the cup of the armor, it bends the armor in half, putting the cup of the knee armor about 1/4 way up my thigh. Sadly I've already de-tagged these and rode with them, otherwise it would be a definite return because of this simple (and stupid) design flaw.

Also, you can't just slip these off easily because Bull-It has only sewn the knee-back reinforcement in place on the side hems, leaving it completely open at the top and bottom. Not such a huge issue when you're putting them on, but when you're taking them off, you can catch your heel on the padding and rip it super easily. Just couldn't live with one more line of stitching, guys?

Order my SR6 Slim size 32. I’m between 32-33 on Levi's, so I thought it would work. Not even close! It seems like I should have ordered a 36!
Also, there’s a lot of padding. I know it must be great for protection, but I felt like wearing diapers, it’s really weird.
Not ordering another SR6, going back to Kevlar like my old ones, they feel more like wearing regular jeans.

Inconsistent Fitment
I'll start off by saying I'm about 6'2'' at 160lbs..I typically wear Levi's 511 in a 32x32 with the leg being slightly too short when i sit (high socks do the trick)

I originally ordered the SR6 Slim jean in a 32x34 to combat the shortness when on the bike..the waist fit fine as expected but the legs were entirely too long! I would have to have them up over my bellybutton just for them to not be super bunched up at the ankle and even then they were plenty long.

I exchanged them for the 32x32's and the leg fitment was spot on to my Levi's 511 however with this pair I could not even button the waist!

Very disappointed because I also ordered the knee and hip armor and now I will be returning all 3 to try my luck with the 2017 version or the AVG Sport Alloy Jeans
