AWESOME! How-to Install tips
I did the usual mods to my 13 Scrambler and found that the clutch would slip and chatter on take off. I also found on the low rpm side of cruising it would chatter. The solution was $15 for these springs. MAKE SURE you purchase a new gasket.

1. Drain Oil
2. Remove side cover. Take notice of some of the bolts are shorter then others.
3. DO NOT LOOSE the wavy washer that goes on the starter drive. It tends to fall off. Also the dowel pins for the cover sometimes fall out, just be aware...
4. Four bolts, remove then a little at a time, going around in a criss cross pattern.
5. Take out the old springs and throw them out the window.
6. Put new ones in, and tighten each bolt a bit at a time, like when you removed them. Hand tight only. Torque to 9nm DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN they are in soft metal.
7. Remove the old Gasket from case and cover. Drink a beer!
8. Put new gasket in. Tighten criss cross to hand tight. Then go around and tighten to 9nm. Again, don't be a meat head and strip them out.
9. Refill oil and double check the oil level.
10. RIP IT!!!!!
