Works. Very good for the price
Use it on my Honda 919. Used a deep socket and extension to get more leverage. Definitely recommend.

Wish it was longer
I honestly wish the grip section was longer. Too short to spin the suspension on my 2012 cbr 250. Otherwise it's ok.

Doesn't work at the track.
I never considered this but the spanner doesn't work at the track because the shock is surrounded by all kinds of fame tubes and plastic parts like the airbox.

I bought the wrench because I got stuck trying to adjust the preload (and sag) on my YZ250 while at the track. I exhausted myself trying to spin the spring by hand, and then tried to finish the adjustment with a screw driver and hammer on the spanner nut. What a pain in the butt!

Anyway, the wrench should work fine in the shop with the bike disassembled or with the shock removed altogether. So in the toolbox the wrench sits for now. Otherwise it looks like a nice tool!

worked after some modifications
I had to file a sizable amount of material off the inside edge of the tooth to get this to fit between the notches of my Honda NC700X.

Also, the wrench is shaped so that you have to have the wrench at a perfect angle to get it to turn the adjuster. There's not a lot of room to work with, so this was very very difficult. In all fairness, that's not the tool's fault. My bike is just awkward to adjust.

Why did you choose this?

I needed a shock spanner wrench. This particular unit looked like the better choice for my needs.

Needed one, and the built in nut wrench seemed like a nice feature, but it doesn't fit my fork.

This wrench works great! Stays with the cycle, just in case, you need to adjust.
