Reviews & Questions
Function- I positioned my mirrors over my hands. While moving them out provides a eyes-n-the-back-of-the-head perspective, the profile is just too wide. While I still get some of my arm in the perspective, the over-the-hand position provides adequate vison behind and to the side of the bike.
Build quality- The materials and quality seem to be on par and exceed the OEM mirrors. The housing adjustment is firm and glass is much better than OEM. Definitely have a solid feel.
Another benefit- I did not anticipate is the improved ride experience of bar end mirrors. Because they are lower and positioned further out in your peripheral vision, the field of view is much more open. It's almost like flying.
Aesthetics- I really like the look of these on my "old school bike". They really pull the look together much better than the OEM. The look is lower leaner and streamlined.
FYI- These do not come with bar end adapters. ALSO- Bonneville T100 with 1" handlebars have an insert in the bar that uses a M5 metric screw to mount bar ends. Some owners adapt aftermarket bar end adapters to fit. Cutting aftermarket adapters to fit seems to be a common approach ,but do some research so you'll know what needs to be done for mounting. I had the tools to fabricate my own bar ends.
Hope this helps and ride safe!

This was a mid priced mirror and I expected better quality than some cheap ebay buy, but aside from the mirror glass being out of place, the overall manufacture quality wasn't that good either. I ended up getting an off-brand mirror set for half the price from somewhere else and the quality is about the same. I think the arm that attaches to the handlebar was the same as on the Bike Master mirror.
