Watch Those Snaps!!!!
Raised snaps hold the liner in place at the rear/bottom of the helmet, right at the base of the skull. I wore this helmet for 15 minutes and the comfort level seemed fine. On the road however was another story. After 2 hours, I developed a horrible headache caused by the snaps that hold the liner in place. Why Bell used snaps that stick out instead of hook/loop fasteners is a question I would love to have answered. Replaced those snaps with a thin layer of velcro and the unit worked flawlessly.

This helmet is great. It has great air flow when its hot and when you close the vents in the cold it cuts the air flow.

Love this helmet
Just what I was looking for...bright visible color to help people spot us on the road. Perfect fit in a medium for my narrow face. Love drop down sun visor and modular feature to lift the face shield when desired, and wind protection under the chin in the cold. Completely satisfied.

Noisy but so far so good.
Haven't used the helmet extensively yet, but wind noise outside the ears can get painful above 50 mph. Fixed that with earplugs. For some reason the pads create pressure on the cheekbone to jawline area but I'm hoping it will break in a little. Sizes seem to run small in the sense that I had to go to XL to get one that fits, and my jacket size is S.

Great Helmet
Purchased this helmet for my wife and two children, lucky for me they all have the same size head. Everyone loves the helmet, the sun visor, and the style but the only complaint is it's too heavy. I don't think it's so bad....

This is only my second helmet. So for comparison, my first is a Scorpion 900 modular.
LIKES: HI VIZ yellow and not at an extra cost- the picture makes it appear more toward gold- so I was pleasantly surprised
It is quite COMFORTABLE and though it tends toward the heavy side( it is modular) it is not really all that noticeable (lighter than the 900 though)
It's a BELL- nuff said
good PRICE
strong DETENTS on face shield perhaps a little too strong- hoping they loosen just a hair over time
comfortable- but then I have a small roundish head
appears to VENT nicely with all vents open- again I have not ridden on a sweltering hot day yet -perhaps a little better than the Scorpion
Dislikes: LOUD- it's difficult to say whose tolerance for loudness is how high but this is loud even at 35-40mph. This is WITH the chin curtain. My Scorpion WITHOUT a chin curtain did not get loud until about 60mph and it was still quieter than this Bell
The front vent is reasonably easy to operate with gloves on but having two separate vents up top to play around with ( AND they are not easy to find with gloves ) is a PIA (The Scorpion vents were almost like a toggle -only one chin and one head and much easier to operate)
Face shield can only be lifted with the left hand - I may be being a little picky, but its nice to have the option on a hot day
Integral sun visor- not as dark as the Scorpion and it tickles my nose - it's NOT a big nose either - again, maybe a little nitpicky
DISTORTION- there appears to be a little more distortion than the Scorpion visor- not bad enough to make me want to return it

OVERALL- I'll keep it and use it and probably not replace it for 5 years

I DON'T RECOMMEND
IF YOU CAN SAVE MORE MONEY AND GET A BETTER HALMET I WILL RECOMMEND TO DO SO. THIS HELMET LOOKS GOOD BUT WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE IS THAT THE INSIDE TEXTURE IS I BIT ROUGH IN YOUR SKIN, THE OTHER THING THAT I DIDN'T LIKE WAS THE SUN VISOR MECHANISM, EVERY TIME THAT YOU WANT TO LOWER THE VISOR IT TAKE SOME EFFORT GET IT LOCK.

Great warranty claims, great protection
I low-sided on pavement and snapped down and slid. My first Bell Revolver (silver) kept me safe! I replaced it with a Revolver EVO (prior version) and wore it happily for 18 months/18kmiles until the magnetic strap button separated from the strap. So Bell mailed me this new version free under their Five Year Warranty.
I've worn this about a year/10k miles and found the XXL tough to break-in and mildly uncomfortable, unlike the prior two. It is noisy and heavy, but when crashing, it did the job. For the price, there are a lot of features.

Bell Revolver Evo - Top Notch
My girlfriend bought this in hi-viz and loves how bright it is. The fit is spot on from the newer RS-1 that I own. It's definitely a great value and looks amazing.

It was cheep and it gets the job done. Easy shield removal, inner shield, functional chin guard, good quality fit. They recommend if your size is close to a larger size to move up a size so i did and it fit good.

Is this helmet Hi viz yellow or Hi viz Fluorescent yellow(yellow-green) in its colorway?
Jonathan M on Jan 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It is Hi Viz Yellow
How many detents are there in the face shield opening? I've had other modulars. One of my old Nolans had several detent positions to allow extra air. Another had fewer and the only bottom one was too wide for colder days.
A shopper on Mar 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Three are several detents in the face shield as one raises it up and down. The bottom one offers only a slight opening to allow adequate air on a colder day without freezing your nose off. I have found the detents to be very well placed.
How heavy is it?
A shopper on Dec 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I've only had full face helmets prior to the Revolver, so to me, it was heavier than I expected. But as the Revolver being modular, it's going to be heavier due to the extra hardware. I believe it's somewhere around 4.5 pounds.

Dies this helmet gave an inner tinted visor also?
A shopper on Jun 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: there is an inner tinted visor...the control mechanism is on the bottom Left edge of the helmet. It comes down and goes up easily, although there is a medium -loud snap when the inner tinted visor is retracted. At times, the inner visor can seem like it's tickling my nose.. that being said, I've NOT been noted to have a big nose.
What Bluetooth system works best with the Revolver Evo?
A C on Sep 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have not used a bluetooth system with it and cannot provide an answer
Video review shows the helmet with clear outer visor, and sun visor. Does the yellow come that way? in the picture it seems it has tainted outer visor and no sun visor.
Also, how does the head shape compare to a Gmax GS54 which is really comfortable, also from revzilla? Is it the same head shape
JORGE R on Nov 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The outer shield is clear, but the drop down visor is tinted. I had a Gmax prior to this Bell. The Bell fit well after I took the advice of Revzilla customer service. The cheek pads were extremely tight. Customer service rep told me to take them out and put em under a couple of heavy books overnight. Plus, the rep also emailed me instructions should I want to return the helmet. I took his advice and after I put the cheek pads in, the helmet is PERFECT!
I have the hi-viz yellow First Gear mesh jacket, matching gloves and these are the yellow-green hi-vis color. This helmet does not look like it matches the ANSI safety hi-viz yellow color which is really a yellow-green. Can anyone tell me if this is just bright yellow, or ANSI/OSHA safety yellow?
A shopper on Apr 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I have the same First Gear jacket as well as this EVO Hi-Viz helmet, and you're right, they do not match exactly. The helmet has no greenish tint like the jacket, it's just yellow. So you could say they clash just a bit. But nonetheless, you're visible. Highly!
