Awesome pipe!
After looking at many different pipes I decided to go with the Magnaflow F Bomb. Let me start by saying this is a BEAUTIFUL pipe! Top quality material. Many reviews said it is a quiet pipe. This pipe is not as quiet as one may think. It's not as loud as a set of 2-2's but it's a perfect loud at start up and idle and really barks when you open the throttle!

The reason I am giving it a 4/5 star is because of the instruction manual. The instruction manual could use some improvement. The black and white pictures are hard to see and instructions could use a bit more detail BUT, I called the tech support line at Magna flow and their tech stayed on the line with me, answering my questions and giving me further info/tips until the exhaust installation was complete. The tech also gave me a direct number to contact him if I required further assistance. Magnaflow has top quality, professional customer service. I was very impressed!

I am new to wrenching bikes. The installation was fairly straight forward but took a bit longer due to my experience level. I am doing my entire stage 1 upgrade with a regular Canadian Tire 300 piece socket set. So i do not have every tool available like some shops may have. You definitely need two people during the installation to help fit the pipes to the heads and hold the exhaust while you install and tighten parts down. The hardest part for me was getting the pipes into the cylinder heads and tightening down the exhaust flanges, especially the rear cylinder bottom flange nut. The O2 sensor is in the way. I called Magnaflow and Harley. They both recommended a 1/4" drive, 1/4" extension, 1/4" universal wobbly bit with a 1/2 socket. I'm not doubting that tool combination has worked for them. It wasn't really working out for me. What I used was a 1/2 offset wrench and it fit around the flange nut PERFECTLY. I tightened the nuts down and finished my install with ease. If Magnaflow could possibly add (or even just suggest) a 1/2” offset wrench to the tool list, I feel it would help save a lot of time. The only other suggestion I would have is maybe use black hose clamps, if there is such a thing.

Once I had the pipes installed and the correct map loaded I fired up the bike. WOW these pipes have such a beautiful sound! Loud, but not obnoxiously loud. It's a nice throaty muscular loud. YouTube videos do these pipes no justice at all. You really have to hear/see them in person to appreciate the quality. I definitely noticed an increase in performance. I am running a Vance and Hines FP3 and can’t wait to start auto tuning. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a new exhaust for their sporty. Happy riding!

Great looking/sounding/performing exhaust but some problems
Ive had this exhaust on for 3 weeks now. The sound of this thing is mean. Has a low rumble. I couldn't believe the sound that came out of my super low 883. I could feel the improvement in power immediately even before tuning. The downsides of this exhaust aren't detrimental but could definitely use some work. I bought this exhaust instead of the two brothers comp because the reviews on the two brothers said that you basically can't take right turns. Scraping this exhaust on the ground is something that you can't avoid if you take any sort of sharp turns. On the bottom of the muffler I have worn a flat spot. Take into consideration i just spent close to 700 dollars on this exhaust. I'm trying my very hardest not to scrape it. The other downside is installing the actual muffler part of the exhaust.putting the pipes and heat shields on were no problem put trying to put the muffler over the pipe took me close to an hour pushing and working it as hard as possible. It made installing tough but in the end a better product. No worries about it coming off.

great overall exhaust. couple of quirks
The heat-shield design is less than stellar on the f-bomb. After you get that and the fact that the clamps that attach both shields to the exhaust are sub-par... its a wonderful exhaust. The tone and overall look and simplicity make this very worth every penny!

Sound special look cool
Got this exhaust three weeks ago. Been somewhere 250km with it, and this exhaust is rocking. So first question everyone thinks before getting this exhaust is, "will this exhaust be loud?". My answer is yes! Its not too loud like drags pipe. "How does it sound?" It really sound good. Not like other exhaust which have heavy metallic sound, but this is good low rumbly tone.

Those whom never seen this exhaust or heard before will come to me and ask about the exhaust. Because is that rare and unique looking. So far I am the only person whom got this exhaust in my area. And so far it attract a lot of other harley rider attention too.

However, I have a small issue on this exhaust. The arlen ness badge paint are starting to peel off. I only have this for three weeks, but on second week i already notice the paint are peeling off. So I am kinda sad on that because the arlen ness badge made the whole exhaust look much better. Wonder how much will be peeled in long run.

After running a few different makes (including the almighty Vance and Hines) these are unbeatable. They have a nasty low throaty tone mixed with a sporty sound. Best 2-1 I've ever owned. I was totally surprised by these. Wouldn't go back to anything else. Install was a breeze. They run amazingly. Buy this exhaust.

Not An Easy Install As Researched
The following in no way reflects my Revzilla experience but that of the product alone. Out of sheer irritation I'm writing this review ahead of my install being 100% complete. I don't know if it comes down to QC with the manufacturer but everywhere I read prior to purchase the consensus of the install was 'piece of cake'. Well, I'm having the opposite experience and figured I'd write this to forewarn others of a potential pitfall.

Everything was going awesome until it came to test fitting the muffler to the bracket. There is bead inside that the header won't slip past, I figured "no problem I'll rent an expander".... hit the parts store, the hand crank expander only works up to a certain point, still won't fit... 3/8" shy of flushing to the bracket. So I head to the muffler shop to have them take a whack at it, boom, done, awesome! Get home, header bolted back up, test fit the muffler, lines up flush with the mounting bracket....aaaaaand now I need a larger clamp because the expansion needed to exceed the diameter of the supplied clamp. I would think this internal bead would've been grinded flush (or at the very least more than it is) and the freaking muffler test fitted to the header that comes wrapped in the same package at the factory but at this point I'm thinking "I had to be the guy to get a lemon". So I'm off (again) to find a larger clamp until I can get back to the shop and have them weld it on. I suppose I could've trimmed the header but why should I be chopping on brand new pipes that cost this much?

Other than the install gripe. It looks awesome and from the research done prior to purchase should sound to my liking as well. We'll see.
