Poor quality but great style
I've barley put 300 miles in this jacket and it's already coming apart at the mesh panels. Overall it's a great jacket, moves a ton of air and provides a lot of protection. But I can't get over how the jacket is already coming apart with little miles and in very easy riding conditions.

Some features are not the normal.
Overall the jacket is very good and was what I was looking for. A jacket that wasn't as tight of a fit as I commute 140 miles a day. I ride sport/supersport bike and my commute is in heavy traffic lane splitting in CA.

Anyhow like I said I was looking for a little looser fit than the pure sport jacket. This one fits the ticket well....

The few things I noticed is that the main zipper is on the left side...Usually its on the right. Not a big deal....well yes why change from the normal?? Yes it still zips up and down, but I am use to starting and zipping with my right hand now its just awkward.

The front pockets are moved more back which I see the reasoning is so what is in the pocket is moved more toward the side and when leaning forward the items do not get in the way of your belly....However when zipping the zipper up normal tendency is to pull forward, because the zipper is now located more to the back. This causes the zipper to somewhat bind. Over time I believe this will result into zipper failure.

My last jacket lasted 3 years and 2 crashes it was an Alpinestars Air.

Low key styling, nice fit and good airflow
Love the low key styling of this jacket. I've ridden sport bikes my whole life and have done a dozen track days, but on the road I don't wanna look like a tool with branding everywhere. This jacket is as good as it gets, although I'd go even more low key and remove all the branding. Also, the picture on this website is not accurate. The shoulder armor is actually dark grey on the A* outline, not white, which is a good thing in that regard.

I'm a unique build and have struggled to find a good fit. I'm 195 lbs 6'2.5" with 36" arms and long legs and a short torso. This jacket as a large fits me pretty good and better than anything else I've tried. I could use another 1/2" or so on the sleeve, but that's because of my abnormally long arms, so I use shorty gloves with a cuff to make up the gap. I ride with a REV'IT! Seasoft RV-04 back protector in there that I salvaged from a previous order I had to sell for fit reasons. It has about the same outline as the stock grey foam that comes with this jacket it's just slightly less wide, but fits fine. It helps to take up the slack around the torso as I have a cyclists body. The adjustable arm girth is a nice feature for the same reason. I have it all the way buttoned up. The overall fit is not super sporty which is nice and I can see myself doing a lot of miles on it. I can still get tucked in with it on the twisties with my chest on the tank and it feels good. No bunching up. Does it all.

The air flow is not amazing, but the mesh panels do flow a good amount of air. It feels cool while moving up to about 95°F weather. Beyond that things start to heat up even if you're moving. I'd expect the A* T-GP R air to flow more if that's what you're eyeing. I personally didn't like the fit on that jacket. Too tight around the shoulders and too long at the front. On the flip side, I think I can throw a hoody under this jacket and get more riding out of it in spring and fall compared to a jacket with more mesh frontal area.

There is an inner liner which just seemed to be a nuisance and I immediately removed it. Just feels like you're fighting it taking the jacket off and if I need more thermal insulation I'd just put a hoody under there. Almost wish they sold it without the liner and reduced the price which is a little steep for a textile jacket to begin with.

The shoulder body armor does seem to move around a bit. I found myself wanting to move it around to get comfortable the other day, but it's minor and generally in the right area.

Overall a good sexy stealthy jacket that flows a decent amount of air and fits good for road use on a sport bike.

Fit and function ultimately lead me to this jacket. 3 season warm weather with a windbreaker and great protection. I have added the Nucleon back protector to round out the armor.

I have this jacket and I wanted to know what paint matches up the best with it? I was thinking the Alpinestars Stella Sonoran Air Drystar Pants maybe?
