Saved my hands AND keeps them warm!
I bought these gloves for cold weather in IL winter. I wore them for the first time today for a ride that lasted around an hour in 40 degree weather. They kept my hands warm and toasty and most importantly fully functional while riding my Ninja 300.

Unfortunately (for my bike) but fortunately for future Revzilla customers, I was able to test their protectiveness today as well! I laid the bike down while turning going about 20 mph and slid on my hands and side into mud and gravel on the shoulder. The gloves protected my hands beautifully; I don't have a single scratch. They got muddy and a dime-sized patch of leather wore away on the palm but both my hands and the gloves survive to ride another day. They saved my hands and fingers from getting scraped or broken that's for sure.

Highly recommend.

Couldnt be more disappointed
Bought the Men's version of this glove. Couldn't be more disappointed.

At this first hint of rain water seeped through the fingers of the glove. To add to this, while the liner is supposedly waterproof, but the rest of the glove gets completely waterlogged adding to a heavy, sluggish glove. Removing your damp hand also pulls out the inadequately attached liner, meaning re-inserting your glove is a frustrating exercise resulting in an uncomfortable, tight fit.

Very, very, very disappointed in Alpinestars which I had previously a very good brand perception, but would now be wary of buying any other product.

Suggestion is to find a decent warm glove and cover it with a waterproof cover (I have even been recommended to use household rubber gloves) to get warmth, protection, and waterproofing.

These seem like good winter gloves or gloves in the rain with a few caveats
They kept my hands dry when getting drenched, for about 2 hours, in some of the heaviest rainfall I've seen in my lifetime in NYC. So yay but don't make the mistake of taking your gloves off to do something and letting your hand(s) get wet. It is SO HARD to get your hand back in. SO HARD.

They seem very protective in all the places that need protection in a fall so the gloves themselves are bulky because it seems almost all motorcycle gloves with real protection on the knuckles, fingers, palms, wrists, etc., are bulky:/ They also kept my chilly hands warm during the afternoons of my outdoor MSF classes (temps approximately mid 40s) at low speeds. They seem like they'd be good for cooler weather. They are not good for hot, sweaty weather. I went out for an hour in the mid 60s in the full sun and my hands were drenched in sweat afterwards (and I'm not usually a person with damp palms).

I keep losing the first wrist securing strap, that feeds through a metal loop to secure it. It's impossible for me to fix without taking them all off all over again or asking someone who hasn't gloved up yet to help so that is the most annoying thing about these gloves.

Overall, I think they are super protective, which is why I purchased them. Drove straight into a chain link fence pole at top speed of 2nd gear on a little Honda Rebel shortly after buying these and while some bruises were earned, not a single drop of blood, nor any broken bones. They worked just fine and don't have a single scratch on them.
