These shoes look cool, but thats about it.
Pros: I went with the Black/Grey size 11 and was very satisfied with the fit and got a few compliments on the looks.

Cons: After literally one day of riding, the shoes had fallen apart. The stitching that attaches the paper-thin piece of ankle protection came undone. This caused the loose flap of plastic to get caught on my foot-peg, preventing me from putting my foot down, and resulting in my bike to tipping over onto my leg. After I picked my bike up, I saw that the shoe had melted from being too close the the exhaust. These shoes offer about as much protection as a pair of high-top Vans, but cost 3x as much and only lasted one day.

Great shoe for what they are.
I ride daily and these are my go to shoes. I prefer them even over my Vans because they are quite comfy. Like others have said, they show wear a little quickly and they get dirty easily, but it doesn't really bother me. I've had them about a year and the bottom of the sole has worn down in a few spots and lost some grip. Overall, they are very comfy, sturdier ankle than normal shoes, and good looking enough that most people don't realize they are made for riding. Great shoe for skydiving too! I agree they run about a half size small.

About what you expect.
Fairly cool and comfortable. Lighter than boots. Sole is very flat not much padding. Sole is also iffy on some footpegs. (I am used to boots with heel to hold foot on peg. Probably bad form)

I wear size 12 Nikes and this size 12 fit just like my Nikes.

My 16 year old daughter thinks they are cooler than my boots. (Is that good or bad?)

Great Riding Shoe
Overall shoe is a great riding shoe. I've got 6 rides on these shoes now and so far they're holding up well. The canvas in the toe box does show wear quickly, but only due to the material. No signs of stitching tear like some other reviews say. Ankle support and airflow are great. Shoe is comfortable to walk in and control feel is good.

Good looking riding shoe, but it is just a shoe.
Reason for buying: Got tired of wearing heavy boots on my daily commute but wanted at least some protection.

Pros:

Stylish - They don't look like the regular Converse All Star knock offs that the rest of the riding shoes seem to emulate.

Comfortable - I wear them all day in an office setting. Haven't walked too far yet, but they seem pretty sturdy. The break in period is also very short. It only took about an hour for them to stretch out enough to stop squeezing my foot.

Cons:

Quality Control - This one is strange to me because there are small things that don't really affect the shoe. Such as one shoelace is about 6 inches longer than the other.

Upkeep - The canvas on the outside of the shoe is very sturdy and high quality, but picks up every little piece of dirt, grime, oil, etc. that you come across. Cleaning is hit or miss. It is a neutral point for me because I didn't expect riding shoes to stay clean for long.

Grip - The bottoms are flat. Grip is slightly below average. Foot has slipped off the brake pedal once or twice

Summary:

Out of all of the shoes I looked at, these caught my eye because they aren't wanna-be Chucks. The quality seems average for the price. You just need to remember, these are shoes, not boots. There is a reinforced heel, but if you are canyon carving in these, I wouldn't expect to walk away without at least a couple of broken toes if you go down.

Would recommend
The foot pattern is similar to regular vans. The size runs about spot on. I ordered a size larger like the previous review suggested only to find them a bit on the large side. The color is not black, but rather a really dark dark maroon. The laces are not as contrasted like in the picture, more of a dark gray. I work retail in these shoes since I ride to work everyday. They are very comfortable, especially with insoles. They don't breathe as well as I'd like, but are bearable. The shoes are built well and offer as much protection as you would expect for a more fashionable alternative to riding boots.

Great boot
I wore these from June 2017 and have worn them through the winter so far in Colorado (35F tested). Surprisingly they've done well in both heat and cold. Sturdy enough that the stitching and the sole haven't fallen apart or peeled. Comfortable to wear all day and walk in.

The only "issue" has been the tread on the shoes, especially where you rest them on the footpegs. The vibrations has essentially worn off all of the tread in the area but the remaining tread on the sole has remained intact.

Great looking shoe, less protective
I walked by this shoe at a gear store and did a double take. A lot of riding shoes are shitty looking, either they're highly protective boots or they're grungy street looking canvas type shoes.

I picked up the Black/Grey, and these are great looking shoes. They aren't very protective, they are thinner with less padding than your typical riding shoes so I'm sticking to wearing these for shorter rides and have alternatives for longer or more aggressive rides. The black outersole won't show much wear, however the grey may. I've used these now a handful of times and I don't have any complaints in how they hold up yet.

They do fit on the smaller side, order a half size up, maybe even a full size.
