Great jacket - fits small/short
This is a fantastic jacket with the caveat (mentioned in the video), that air does not flow through the liner so it isn't appropriate for hot days. Love the armor, the fit, the collar with partial closure, and the leather forarms. I ride a V-strom, but don't want a bulky adventure jacket. This one is slim and contoured, but is waterproof and has excellent protection of more sport bikes without a super-sport look.
I'm 6'2", 180 and normally wear a large. This fit very tight and short in a large. I went with an XL, which fits perfectly and isn't bulky or american cut.

Great Jacket All Around
I bought this jacket a couple of months ago but finally put it to good use on a trip to Sturgis this year. Week one of 2017 was one of the coldest rally weeks on record. We pulled into Deadwood on Thursday night a the temp was 44 degrees. I was riding a BMW k1200rs so while somewhat protected I was certainly getting hit with plenty of wind. This jacket performed flawlessly. I may even purchase another for backup.

I'm 5'11", athletic build, and out of shape. I went with the XL. It probably is a little too small in the stomach but I'm forcing myself to lose weight and this will fit perfect then. I'm hoping to get down to 200-210lbs. I have both the Nucleon Chest and Back protectors in this jacket. The DFS on the shoulders is awesome as is the cowhide on the sleeve. Overall construction seems excellent so far.

Now for the air flow...of course the Drystar liner is not removable and I honestly don't think this is too big of a deal. I worn this in temperatures up to 91 and down to high 30s and it was comfortable 100% of the time. During the hotter temps I would simple put the collar in the open position, unzip the jacket to the upper break point, open the vents and ride. Keep in mind I was riding cross-country. I'm not sure I would want to wear this above 90 degrees in city riding. I brought a long sleeve dry-fit shirt so that my skin wouldn't stick to the rain liner and I didn't use it at all. I know this gets compared to the megaton quite often but the megaton doesn't have the premium materials this jacket has.

I did purchase this on closeout however, and although I was seriously considering buying at full price I just couldn't pull the trigger. I'm glad I waited.

Overall 5 stars all the way.

Good jacket
The other reviews are correct. This is a cool weather jacket. But that's why I bought it. Having a long run of cold days here in the sf Bay Area and jacket works well with a base layer on sub 40 mornings. 2 "complaints". The zipper gets caught in the fabric at the bottom, and the cuffs are little leaky- if it's cold
You need over sleeve gauntlets.
I'm happy with it over all, should have ordered a size smaller, but i have plenty of room for an insulation layer if I need.
Haven't ridden it in a heavy rain, but light rains are no problem.
Not personally A big fan of black, could use some more visibility accents. Good excuse to buy a flashy helmet.

Why did you choose this?
RevZilla Store
My choice came down to the Megaton or the Pikes. The Pikes jacket doesn't have a removable Drystar liner or YKK zippers on the cuff, but it seems to have premium materials with cow hide leather and the DFS on the shoulders. I'm not 100% sure if this is the case but the rear looks like it has a bit more of a drop seat than the megaton. I have both a k1200rs (substantial forward lean) and a r1150r (nearly upright), this seems to fit the forward lean a bit more. The closeout price sealed the deal.

Hi. I am 5'10 and 150 lbs with 36,5 inches chest. Sometimes i will use this around 70 degrees without liner but with chest and back protector. So should i go for small or medium ?
