Good Size with features
I bought this backpack to start wearing for my commute. It's big enough to carry my MacBook, Accessories and other miscellaneous stuff. There are several pockets which come in handy more often then not. I have also taken it on a few 4-6 hour rides, carrying my water bladder snacks and a couple tools I keep on hand in case something goes wrong and I'm several hours from home.

All in all, it's a great product, not bulky, conforms nicely to your back. If it fits in your budget, I recommend it!

Very happy with it.
The good:

Comfortable, light, nice looking. Waterproofing works 99.9%, with only some slight dampness around the seams on the very bottom after the hardest rain. I'm confident my electronics are fine in this bag, but I would prefer 100%.

The bad:

The mouth at the top is small and some loads don't fit in.

The bungie part is the least secure, the ends just tied into knots. It's removable without cutting/damaging anything.

The side pockets are strangely designed, with the clip attached to the pocket flap itself, instead of on the other side of the pocket.

The outer net is very tight, hard to get things in it. I've only used it once. Looks neat though.

I was comparing this to the Kriega R30 for a waterproof riding bag, and I'm very happy with my choice.

Very nice
After much looking at all the options I went with this one. Very happy. It's well made with good looking materials. Lots of storage and expandability. A few small and clever details that will be of good use. The helmet holder was very handy on some recent flights, I took the backpack with helmet as my carry on. Very comfortable both on and off the bike.

Great Bag
All around great bag. The feel and buckles all seam to be high quality. Only complaint may be that the roll top design makes it hard to just throw things in it quickly, but that's what you sacrifice for it being waterproof.

A stars backpack waterproof
Reason why I got this backpack is because of it being waterproof. Had not use in the rain yet. But the only problem is the opening could be a bit bigger other than that I like this bag a lot good range of motion and feels like you don't have one on at times

So Uncomfortable
I've owned this bag for 4 months now, and I ride with it 4-5 days a week.

Might be worth mentioning I'm 6' feet tall, medium athletic build.

I was looking for a fairly lightweight bag, expandable size, water proof, extra compartments, but most importantly comfortable to wear with heavier loads in the bag.

I always pack a 15" MacBook, a couple of comp notebooks, water bottle, light weight sweater, and pens/pencils.

Daily, I usually have a bottle or two of whiskey in my bag as well. I work for a whiskey company as a brand rep, so I'm constantly leading tastings and trainings with bar managers and their staff. When I'm not hauling whiskey around, I use the backpack as a carry on for airplane travel - dopp bag, change of clothes, a book or two.

Even with two whiskey bottles in my bag, I've never felt close to "over packing" the bag. The weight isn't more then 10-12lbs.

My gripe with this bag is the straps:

- The straps stretched to the point I can't tighten the bag to be comfortable. It hangs so low the bottom of the bag now rests just below the back protector in my jacket and digs right into my hips. On longer rides 50-80 miles it becomes very painful and I'm constantly readjusting my position to find a comfortable way to ride.

- The straps also have a hinged connection right on the top of my shoulders. Granted, they've put a lot padding there, but the edges of these connections constantly curl under creating a pressure point with the pad that requires constant readjustment. Whenever I'm stopped I find myself leaning back to relieve the pressure off of my shoulders. I didn't even realize I was doing it until recently. It's just become habit.

I've also noticed all of the little micro adjustment straps that allow you to tighten up the bag so the load doesn't shift, have started to loosen on there own during my rides.

I'm really bummed I spent so much money on a bag I now dread to use. The build quality/durability just haven't held up. Anytime I ride with gear I want to forget I have it on, not have it distract me from my ride.

Backpack is not waterproof
I love this bagpack it has all the feaurss I need.
My love only last untill it rains, I’m not sure where the water came in from.
Luckily I only rode in the rain for 30 minutes, otherwise all my electronics gadget will be gone...
Really disappointed with Alpinestars quality. This is my second Alpinestars product failed me within 2 years.
Will not consider buying their product anymore
