Good Size with features
I bought this backpack to start wearing for my commute. It's big enough to carry my MacBook, Accessories and other miscellaneous stuff. There are several pockets which come in handy more often then not. I have also taken it on a few 4-6 hour rides, carrying my water bladder snacks and a couple tools I keep on hand in case something goes wrong and I'm several hours from home.

All in all, it's a great product, not bulky, conforms nicely to your back. If it fits in your budget, I recommend it!

Very happy with it.
The good:

Comfortable, light, nice looking. Waterproofing works 99.9%, with only some slight dampness around the seams on the very bottom after the hardest rain. I'm confident my electronics are fine in this bag, but I would prefer 100%.

The bad:

The mouth at the top is small and some loads don't fit in.

The bungie part is the least secure, the ends just tied into knots. It's removable without cutting/damaging anything.

The side pockets are strangely designed, with the clip attached to the pocket flap itself, instead of on the other side of the pocket.

The outer net is very tight, hard to get things in it. I've only used it once. Looks neat though.

I was comparing this to the Kriega R30 for a waterproof riding bag, and I'm very happy with my choice.

Very nice
After much looking at all the options I went with this one. Very happy. It's well made with good looking materials. Lots of storage and expandability. A few small and clever details that will be of good use. The helmet holder was very handy on some recent flights, I took the backpack with helmet as my carry on. Very comfortable both on and off the bike.

A stars backpack waterproof
Reason why I got this backpack is because of it being waterproof. Had not use in the rain yet. But the only problem is the opening could be a bit bigger other than that I like this bag a lot good range of motion and feels like you don't have one on at times

Great Bag
All around great bag. The feel and buckles all seam to be high quality. Only complaint may be that the roll top design makes it hard to just throw things in it quickly, but that's what you sacrifice for it being waterproof.

Good balance between cost and features. I commute on a Vulcan S and need a place to carry shoes to change into at work, plus something for dinner and some water bottles, and I know I will get caught in some rain occasionally. I already have A-Stars glove and boots, so wanted to compliment the gear I already had. It is a little more than I wanted to spend, but I know it will fit my needs 99% of the time.

Wanted a off roader and my on road Aplinestars is great so stuck with them. Love this new one, very nicely made and good features.
GMac on Jun 28, 2016
tough choice between this and the kriega 35, I spent a lot of time reviewing options and figured i would go with Kriega. I ended up going with the aplinestars orbit due to the additonal features, same size, lower cost point and brand loyalty.

can it fit 17 inch slim laptop?
A shopper on Sep 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I'm pretty sure it won't, also it says 15 inch so go figure.
Is there a specific hydration pack or can I use any general one?
A C on Aug 31, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You can use any general hydration pack.
How do you install/secure/strap in the laptop sleeve?
A shopper on Aug 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It comes already installed. It's in the main section of the book bag. There are in think 4 tabs (2 on each side) that are made into each side of the bag. The sleeve that holds it is fairly thick to help prevent damage. It has 4 velcro straps; simply slide it into the bag and pull each velcro strap through the ones already in the bag...and...you're all set.
Hope this helped.
How's this pack holding up for everyone? Any busted zippers, fraying seams etc..?
Daniel H on Dec 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Only 3 week with it in the Pac NW rain, and good so far. Only thing is the bungee came apart on the bottom, but it looks like it was held by a knot. Tied a new one, still going fine.
What is weight of the backpack?
A shopper on May 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: the backpack itself is really light. with nothing inside, i cant feel it.
The backpack rides really well, much better than the swiss backpacks.
