Alpine GPX Gloves
I have always used A*'s gear, mainly short cuff, blended material gloves. I switched to the GPX for the all-leather construction and extra protection provided by wrist guard and fourth and fifth finger bridge. This is an excellent glove for three season riding as it provides adequate ventilation on hot days. I was worried that the extra wrist guard would eliminate the short cuff feel, but there is enough room to still wear a large wrist watch. I decided to switch to all leather because the old summer gloves that I was wearing had a synthetic suede that frayed and became extremely worn after one year. I highly recommend this glove; just be aware that the fit is slightly smaller since it is all leather construction. I wear a large in all A*'s gloves, so I ordered a large in the GPX--it took about 30 riding hours before the glove was broken in and it now fits perfectly. The glove does have exceptional grip almost to the point to where the throttle position remains the same during front brake application. I have to remove my hand completely from throttle while breaking to avoid engine revolutions during breaking. Recommended product.

Excellent gloves
Bought these gloves about two months ago. Took about 3 days of riding for them to be broken in nicely. Once they were broke in they are super comfortable. They didn't get too loose. The airflow was good when I would lift my hands off the handlebars. I think cause where my handle bars were the bike is designed for airflow around your body, so air wouldn't really get to them and they would get warm. So I would hold my hands up for a little bit and air would flow right through them and cool off my hands.

I highsided 4 days ago and my hands are perfectly fine. Not an ounce of pain, no bruises, and no cuts. Gloves are also in perfect shape. I broke both my feet, got stitches in my right foot and right thigh, cracked my helmet in two places, and completely totaled my bike to the point where you cannot identify what it was. I crashed going about 80 MPh on the highway and my hands are fine thanks to these gloves.

I would recommend these gloves to anyone in the market for a pair. They're an awesome and wise investment. I'll still be able to wear mine if I get another bike.

Great, but fell apart in weeks
These gloves were a bit tight at first but became very comfortable after a week. Unfortunately, after less than 3 weeks, the threads failed and now there is a 2 inch sparation in the glove. The glove will continue to fall apart if not repaired.

Airflow + protection + Alpinestars = amazing gloves
Great in the Las Vegas heat!!!
Size ordered XXL (i'm between XL-XXL american sizing)

Already this year, Las Vegas NV has hit 100deg F. a few times. During those times I rode my bike to test out the comfort of these gloves in the scorching sun. To my surprise they flowed extremely well and kept my hands comfortable and cool.
I could feel the air pass through the knuckle vents and perforation. Airflow worked best at 40mph +. Below 40mph, I couldn't feel the airflow.

Pros:
-airflow, airflow and more airflow.
-tons of features/tech (not to high of price)
-comfort and more comfort, even with the tech and extra padding(hard and soft)
-does not turn your hands black during break in/riding
-quality build, stitching and materials
-boxed finger stitching, so you don't feel internal stitching
-ulna bone protection, also protects your watch(if wearing on e)

Cons:
-not made in Italy, designed in Italy, made in Vietnam.

AWESOME GLOVES
The folks over at Alpinestars have done it again! I had Alpinestars gear when I rode 10 years ago. Now as a returning rider I tried another brand of gloves and the quality wasn't the same.

These GPX are awesome! Fit true to size. Im a L in an "American cut glove" so Im an XL for Alpinestars. They're tight at first but they're leather so they will break in. The articulation and flexibility is great with the 3rd/4th finger bridge in the right place. Just for fun I typed some of this review with my gloves ON (2 finger typer) Not all of the stitching is uniform and for a glove north of 100 I would have liked to see it more uniform but its not a game changer as the glove is well made. The Red, White and Blue look awesome, and NO dye has rubbed off on my hands. Im hoping these are still around when my first pair are done because I would buy them again!

PROS:
-All leather construction with the reinforcements in the critical impact areas=great protection
-Precurved finges with the 3rd/4th finger bridge
-Added length for additional wrist protection (longer than a short glove but not a gauntlet)
-Perforations for air flow
-articulation and flexibility are great

CONS:
-Not all of the stitching is uniform
-You're not getting them for under 100 unless you have some team zilla cash

Exactly What I Was Looking For
This is the first time I think I've given 5/5 for any product. Nothing more can be said about A* quality that hasn't been said - this is a case of getting what you pay for. This glove will last many seasons and on many motorcycles. I was looking for a glove with race-level features and protection but without the bulk; something for the street that breathes, moves, is comfortable, and will protect me from a tractor trailer dragging me down the freeway. This is the glove I wanted all along. Race gloves should be considered the utmost in protection, but they're a bit overkill for the street, while most street gloves are little more than leather motocross gloves with knuckle protection, which is to say, gardening gloves with knuckles. You have to compromise - you want comfort or protection? This glove maximizes that compromise well with as much protection as I feel is needed for aggressive canyon/mountain and frightening traffic riding, with a slight bent towards more protection. Most hands used to street gloves will probably find these slightly bulky and limiting, but those used to race gloves will feel like your naked hands are protected by leather-clad guardian angels.

I could have been a hand model for most glove maker's Large size - which is Alpinestars' XL size. These, however ran a shade larger than usual, and the L, while larger than most of their L's, was still too small. So if you have meaty mitts, you might fit these better than usual without having to go up a size and put up with reservoir tip fingers. I'm still wearing the XLs with no problems, I guess I'm just used to gloves fitting like gloves haha

Amazing glove
This glove is the perfect combination of protection and technical feedback. The top of the hand and knuckle are beefy and feel very protective while the palm of the hand feels (and is) soft enough to feel the controls but thick enough to protect in a lay down. I absolutely love this glove. If I only had one negative thing to say about this glove it would be that it doesn't come in Kawasaki green. Aside from that it's yet another top notch and high end product from Alpinestars.

Great street gloves
Gloves are great for the street. Perfect length to pair with sport style leather jackets. Just wish there was a seamless fingertip design. That seam sometimes digs in between your fingernail tips.

Low Quality for the price
I purchased a pair of Large Red, White and Blue gloves after speaking with someone about changing from the Alpinestar GP Plus gloves which fit me a bit too tightly in a size Large. The gloves look amazing and the fit is much better than on the GP Plus gloves however after only having worn them twice the stitching is already torn on one of the fingers. I am very disappointed as I have a ton of other AS gear and it has never been of this same quality.

Good gloves
Very comfortable. Finger tips a bit long but not too bad. I have small hands and normally wear medium gloves- ordered size up and they fit well.
