If you want a louder than stock sound, then you need to remove the DB killer. Do not be afraid of it being too loud without it. It's not. but it is important to remove it before you install the pipe. On the tail end of the pipe on the carbon fiber section, there is a round rubber insert. Remove it with your fingernails. Look inside the hole to see a 4mm hex bolt. Use an allen wrench to remove it. While you loosen that bolt, have the pipe cradled in the packing styrofoam, angled upward so that gravity keeps the bolt and its locking crush washer in the tail end. When the bolt and washer are removed, simply pick up the pipe and move it around until the bolt and washer fall out of that hole. This next part is where it gets fun. As if you needed an excuse to buy a Klein tool, go out and buy Klein's D360-11 11-inch long reach needle nose pliers (straight). Why? The long steel arms/handles bend inward to touch one another when the jaws are used to grip something small like the rim of the DB killer baffle. That may sound like a bad thing but what that does is lock the jaws in place such that they do not slide off that rim. There are two rims of the baffle. The inner rim (which you pull on) and the outer rim, which is a fitting sleeve that is squeezed within the metal muffler housing. Keep the muffler cradled in the styrofoam packing as you start the long process of pulling on that inner rim of the baffle. Rotate the jaws to opposite sides of the baffle as you pull on it. Eventually it will pop out, just don't give up. Be patient, making sure you don't do anything to damage the pipe. Set the pipe in foam on a workbench, or sit with it on the floor, with your non-pulling arm holding it with that arm's hand gently holding onto the carbon end of the pipe for leverage. When the baffle eventually pops off, you'll laugh because it looks like a robot's pecker.
Removing Stock Pipe:
Expect to find that the two pipes have melded together a bit. Hold onto the receiving pipe while you tap the stock muffle off using a rubber mallet. Tap from outside and then inside the passenger foot peg. It will come off.
I used a very light coat of copper grease when I coupled the new pipe to that receiving pipe.

Without the silencer - Bike is loud, alright. Loud enough for drivers to go out of their way to know where the bike is coming from
With the silencer - there is no bike more quiet. I use the silencer when going out at night or early in the morning to avoid disturbing the neighbors.
Overall - very happy with purchase. should have probably done this before putting extra lights on the bike to increase visibility. Believe it, being heard is being seen. Being seen is safety! And Safety is King :). The video does give the loudness justice. It's actually louder!

I am not the most technical guy to ask here, but since it fits my F800GS Adventure 2014, and I can see that you have very much the same type of bike, I don't see why not! I would bet that it does, and I am very happy about the product, and the price I got here was unmatched by 30 dollars anywhere else at the time!!!
