Waterproof, heavy duty, low cost
I was looking for a waterproof 2 piece rain suite and landed on this unit because of the hi-viz option, low cost, and generally positive reviews. Overall, I like the design and recognize it is good quality and will certainly keep me dry, however I have two relatively minor issues: 1) the wrists have elastic bands instead of an adjustable Velcro wrap, and the elastic bands are not snug so I anticipate water can run up the sleeve unless I get creative to find a way to tighten that area and seal out water or place the elastics over the gauntlet portion of my riding gloves which is probably the intended design strategy and 2) the suite itself is heavier duty than I anticipated and consumes more pack space than I expected or wanted; it will fit into my Nelson RIgg 1060 Sport Tail bag but consumes the majority of space when the tail bag is not expanded. Because the rain suite is used so infrequently I'll most likely place it under my tail bag.

The fit is true to size. I wear a small 4 season Revit jacket - pant set and the small rain suite fit over the riding gear perfectly.

The hi-viz color is excellent and I recommend this option.

Bone Dry. This is what you need.
I ordered this rain suit in black because the high-viz yellow looks terrible in the pictures... I need rain gear because I commute 30 miles to work every day on two wheels (three wheels when I know it's going to rain). I have been caught in a couple of heavy downpours and unexpected showers with my textile "winter" jacket and it unfortunately lets some water in. I don't have any waterproof pants either. The day after the suit arrived at my door I got a chance to try it out in a 37 degree, rainy ride to work and after 30 minutes of highway and some surface streets, I arrived bone dry. As for the cold, I was layered up but this rain gear seemed to do a great job of breaking the wind and keeping most of the cold off. Don't waste your money on anything more expensive than this. This does the trick and even comes with a handy tote bag that can fit in almost any saddlebags or tail bag that you have.

Overall a good product
One of the reasons I purchased this product was to use it for a windbreaker in cold weather. This means that I will be wearing a jacket for warmth under the rain gear. It worked great for that and allows me to ride comfortably down to 15-20F. The only downside is that the collar is not designed to accomodate the collar of a jacket underneath and the result is that I cannot fully secure the collar of the rain gear when I am wearing the jacket but I did not find that is was an issue as far as wind breaking.

Can't beat the price!
I got rid of my cage so I'm riding this winter. This rain suit is perfect and well worth the money. I went traffic cone yellow so I'm visible. I accidently ripped out the stitches on one of the leg openings but the velcro still keeps it closed. Really blocks the wind so this is perfect for winter.

Cheap & It Works
It's a cheap option for rain gear that works. Period. Just be mindful for those of you with longer limbs this probably won't be a great option. They've kept me dry on my 40 minute commute through some heavier rains but they're a tad short in the leg and arms for me (still better than nothing though). Purchased size L and it fits over my size L Cortech mesh jacket with liners & riding jeans w/ armor.

On a functional note, you can put the pants on over your boots (no need to take them off). No air flow...but that's kind of the point.

When it rains it poors
For average rides in the rain it is a great suit. Only the fit of the pants was not great. Too short on the upper body. And not long enough.

Be nice to it
6' 2" with 34" inseam 200-220 depending on the time of year. The XL size fits me almost perfectly with the arms being a little short but if you wore gauntlet gloves it wouldn't be an issue.

I've only used the jacket so far but I tried on the pants and they fit great. The jacket I've used a half dozen times or so and on the first use, on one of the front pockets, the seam split so that pocket is unusable. Other than that it seems to be holding together well. I've only used the jacket this spring during the morning or on days when it hasn't warmed up yet as an extra layer over my summer gear and riding around with it about 3/4 zipped up there is enough airflow to keep me from sweating while also stopping enough of the air to keep me warm. This jacket has ZERO airflow which is great.

Notice I chose to recommend the product and gave it a good bang for the buck rating. The quality of the fabric is good and it does the job well that even though the pockets should be avoided it still does its primary purpose rather well.

Also, 3 stars is an average rating on this web page so I did not give it a bad rating.

Worth the $
For the price, one of the best suits. Only needed it once so far, kept me dry and warm. One design flaw... the velcro used to tighten up the lower portion of the pant leg faces forward. Although pleated so no rain can get by, does slightly catch in the wind. Over time once the velcro starts to wear out, this could be an issue. Not a deal breaker though

Bone dry
I can say I tested these to the extreme. In an electrical storm. Torrential rain. Had to pull over because I couldn't see anymore. Rode hour and a half in a downpour. The only wet I got was around the sleeve area because my gloves didn't cover the cuff. and around the collar. The fuzz on the collar got soaked, so my neck got a little wet, but it didn't drip into my jacket front. If I had a medium jacket, it probably would have sealed up under the helmet better. I got a large to go over the top of my riding gear, and it fits well (i'm 6 foot, 150 lbs), but is baggy. The length is right though. I got loads more water in through the helmet than the suit, and when I peeled it off, my riding gear wasn't even damp. Bonus, the yellow color can be seen from space, so you cut through the mist like a beacon.
Air flow score: it's rubbery inside - not meant to breathe.
Comfort score: again, doesn't breath, but it's not really supposed to

Great Jacket, So So Pants
I took this rain suit on a trip from Connecticut to Colorado and back again. Saw rain on the plains as well as the mountains. I cant say enough about the jacket, it fit over my Roland Sands leather jacket with no problem even with the armor in. The Jacket kept me dry in pouring rain outside of Wichita and warm going over Wolf Creek pass in CO. Great jacket, easy to put on stopped on the highway and functions as intended. Very glad I purchased this before I left. The pants on the other hand have no fly, and were too short for my legs. I'm 5'10" and have a medium build. Off the bike the pants are easy to put on with the Velcro at the bottom of the legs. However on the bike the pants hiked up above my ankles and let the rain in. I was constantly pulling down the cuffs of my pants to try and cover my socks and top of my boots. So after 600 miles or so in the rain my socks and boots were soaked but the rest of me was bone dry. Great Jacket, so so pants.
