Amazing jacket, crash tested!
I recently went down while wearing this jacket. 30-40 mph low side accident and landed on my elbow and then onto my shoulder and rolled a couple of times. The elbow pad was in place when I fell and my bones were fine, minus the slight road rash on my elbow/forearm. My shoulder was also protected by the fall from the padding. I purchased the extra back protector for it and that didn't really get used, but regardless I'm glad I had it. It's worth the purchase to replace the flimsy piece of foam you get for your back.
On to the review, this jacket is great. It has everything you want at the price that you won't mind paying. It's very stylish but it puts protection first. The leather panels are very sturdy and they held up well after sliding. If you open up the zippers on the front and back they go all the way down the length of the jacket to give you the most airflow possible. Needless to say, this jacket breathes EXTREMELY well if you let it. The zippers on the arms are a nice touch to getting in and out of the jacket. All the zippers have long pulls to ease their use while wearing gloves and they tuck right into the jacket to make it look cleaner. The neoprene collar feels great and the collar has a button that keeps it shut.
My only gripe is that I'm a fit guy with a 32-34 waist and the jacket wasn't that fitted around my waist. It has the stretch panels to help your range of motion but it isn't very fitting in that area.

TL;DR :This is a great jacket, held up great after a low side, very comfortable and breathable, and worth every penny.

Very good jacket for its price!
Outer shell is very dense and looks duruable.
Leather eblows and shoulders add nicely to protection.
Cuffs have long zippers - putting on gloves is a snap.

Very comfortable overall - when I put it on I feel like a "turtle at home".

Still did not try it neither in rain nor in hot weather, so no comments on that so far.

I'm 6 feet, 175 lbs, 40" chest - tall skinny guy. I took size M, which is just a little but large, but I plan to wear it with compression suit, so that spare space is actually good.
Sleeves are long enough, so if I wanted this jacket for regular wearing, I think I would go one site smaller. This jacket sizing looks "American Cut".

The armor is very basic - soft inserts, although jacket's label claims they are CE-rated, I would not rely on them too much.

Great jacket for the price
Can't beat the quality for the price of this jacket. Looks and feels very well made. Nice padding on shoulders and elbows. Great air flow with the large front and back zipper openings.
I researched this jacket and saw different comments about the fit. The sizing chart is a bit confusing too. I decided to go with the medium. I am 5'11", 165 with a 33 inch waist and 40 inch chest. If you have a bigger waist you may want to get a large. The sleeve length for me was perfect.

Good value for the price
Bought the Hi-Vis verison. Quality and color of the material is good. I like the black version but can imagine that will attract heat. Great air flow to torso area but none to arms. Vents open in front and back and thus if the rider is in motion, good ventilation of the mid-section. Arms have absolutely no air flow. There's a waterproof liner which I have not use but can see that it will make the jacket even hotter.

Great Jacket!
This is a great jacket period, but especially for the price!

-Size: I'm 5' 9", 150 lbs, with an athletic build, and this jacket fits me well except for in the lower torso area. Due to "American" sizing it has room for a gut which I don't have.
-The wind block liner zips in too far from the middle which leaves a cool area for my sternum.
-Air flow is great with the huge zip vents.
-I got the Hi-Viz because I want to try to catch the attention of the mom changing the DVD for her kids, or the guy on his phone.
-I commute to work on my moto. Most mornings are in the low 40s, and afternoons are between 60-80. This jacket does well with that temperature range.

I haven't seen another jacket this good at this price anywhere.

AGV Mission jacket review
There are very few jackets in this price range that offer the features of this jacket. I was looking for a hi-vis jacket in a racer style that didn't break the bank. This jacket met all of the requirements and more. There is a removable waterproof liner which is easy to remove and replace. There are two outside zipper pockets and one inside zipper pocket. In addition there are 4 large zipper vents for air flow. I found that during the summer months removing the liner and opening all of the vents did help with air flow but there is no air flow in the arms. The large vents are nice but the front vents tend to close in a forward leaning riding position. The hi-vis color is great and I have no doubt that drivers have seen me who would have otherwise pulled out in front of me. The jacket is comfortable and the sizing is correct. I'm 5'6 and 150 lbs and the medium fits perfectly. I'd classify this as a 3 season jacket even though its marketed as a summer jacket for two reasons. There isn't enough air flow in the arms and shoulder area during 90 degree + weather even with the vents open. For fall and spring the jacket is just right and if you add layers underneath you could wear this jacket in the winter as well. The included back pad is just a piece of foam and the included shoulder and elbow armor is ok but should probably be replaced. AGV had to cut corners somewhere to keep the price down and it seems that the armor is where they chose to reduce costs. That said the armor is easily replaced. The leather accents are nice on the shoulder and elbow and i'm sure that they would help in a slide. The quality of the jacket is good and it has held up nicely. I would definitely recommend this jacket.

Great styling for a Hi-viz
This is a great looking jacket for a Hi-Viz. Excellent airflow and comfort for sport riding. Not so sure about the foam protectors for protection, wish it had a CE rated ones. In my opinion, the Hi-Viz looks better than the black in this style and may even save your life from some sleepy drivers running onto you.

Can't beat the price
I have only worn this for about 300 miles, but so far so good.

PROS:
Design and cut, I like the look of the leather shoulders and elbows, Not sure how well they work but cool design

Fit and finish look good and feel fine, no problem with zippers or loose thread

Cost, unbelievable

Waterproof - Rode a half hour in a downpour, I was dry. Jacket soaked up water, especially in the leather areas. But I was dry. I am going to spray the leather areas to see if that helps.

CONS:
Could be a little longer in the back
I wish it had a zipper to attach to pants will see if AGV will sell me one
Need to upgrade back protection

Over all very pleased with AGV and Revzilla

Good cheap jacket, quality will deter
I've had this jacket for 2 years now and have put it to really good use. The jacket is a very nice jacket out of the box. Its comfortable and have lots of pockets, large vents and removable liner.

Pros:
1)Cheap: $100 cant really go wrong
2)good style: As Jay-Z states, all black everything!
3)simple: no fancy design just straight up jacket
4) padded: Where need be, good stuff!

Cons:
1)All (fake) leather pieces will deteriorate. I ride with a backpack and my shoulder leathers are now all scrubbed from the wear and tear, so it doesnt look really nice anymore. But I still use it
2) Interior liner will deteriorate: I've taken out the interior liner a couple times and every time it looks worst and worst. I take pretty good care of my jacket and unfortunately as of this season(2 years) the liner has deteriorated like moths have been eating it.. No I dont have moths.

All in all its a fantastic jacket for its price, so really the con's aren't that bad. Its just what i've experienced. In the end the I would recommend the jacket to others.

I chose this item because it comes in hi-viz yellow and has a 600 D outer armor material. I hesitated for a while, trying to choose between this jacket and the speed and strength seven sins jacket in hi-viz textile, but went up going with this one despite the leather shoulders and elbows because I just like the looks better. The leather shoulders and elbows are a nice protective touch, but they present giant Achilles's heels to rain. Use caution when buying if you expect rain on your ride.

Which elbow and shoulder replacement armor fits this jacket?
William C on May 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Not sure, i just got this jacket about a month and change, do to winter only used once.
How does this jacket preform in hotter humid weather?
280582 G on May 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: As long as the vents are open and the liners are taken out it performs reasonably well when moving. Not so great for in town low speed rides. Good air for the torso but none for the arms/armpits.
I am a slim guy with a sleeve length of 25.5 inches but a chest of about 40 inches.
If I get a size large so the sleeves are long enough, is the jacket going to be too bulky?
Jacob R on Jun 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Sounds like I'm a similar size to you (6'1", 170 bs) and I don't think so. I ordered the medium and large and ended up returning the medium because even though it fit slightly better around the stomach, the sleeves were too short and too tight. The large is by no means bulky and I haven't noticed any bunching while riding.
I'm seeing allot of talk about the waist. Are they saying it's too small or too large?
A C on Mar 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The waist look and fit normal to me. Its a jacket not pants, so you cant beat the price with this one.
Where is this jacket made?
A C on Jan 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I believe AGV products are made in Italy.
which agv pants will this work with?
Chris S on Sep 19, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Mine does not have a zipper at all. So if you are looking for pants to zip in - there are none. Otherwise - really worth its money.
