FYI, the instructions call for a 16 mm hole - a 5/8 masonry drill is fine (only .005" smaller than 16 mm). Preferable to use a drill/hammer, but I did it with ust a good drill although I needed two bits. Expect to spend some elbow grease.
Once in, this thing can hold a tank!

Does Its Job
Heavy duty design, I'd recommend 5/8 bit + Bosch Bulldog SDS-Plus if you want to DIY. I'm not going to tell you how to do it, but I will recommend drilling the holes while the plate is placed, and not marking your holes and removing the plate as it instructs you to do. This can cause crooked holes. With the plate in place it forces you to drill straight so you don't damage the mount. Easy install, solid build quality, 9.7/10 for design/price/quality. Product does what it is designed to do, which is keep your bike in place.

Get at least a 5 foot chain, and throw it through the swing arm to secure it. They can take a wheel off, they aren't going to cut through the swing arm without you hearing it.

Chain suggested at least 15mm thick to ward off bolt cutters.

As far as Revzilla goes, you know the drill - 10/10 customer service as usual. Arrived 2 days earlier than scheduled with standard shipping.

use and no one will steal your bike
What a anchor! Heavy and comes with all the fittings and instruction. Took about 30 mins to install and looks great on the floor as well.

Great security, great value
Very pleased with this anchor lock. Impenetrable against all but the most determined thief. Easy to install if you have a rotary hammer drill (16mm). I anchored it off the ground on my concrete wall to make it that much harder for a thief with bolt cutters. I also use it to secure other attractive items in my garage, not just my motorbike. The anchor lock is paired with an Abus chain and disc lock, so I can sleep well (and get a deduction on my insurance).

Can It be placed at another location after install. If so how would the bolts be removed? unscrewed or cut off. Thanks

BEST ANSWER: Once this anchor is installed, it is pretty difficult to move. Otherwise, it would not be much of a security device, would it? If you did manage to get it up, you would need some new 16mm concrete bolts. Some folks recommend drilling the bolts out, but this does not sound like it is for the faint of heart.
I'm planning on moving in the next couple of months, so I was wondering if the lock can be easily removed from a wall/floor after it has been installed so I can take it with me, or is it a permanent installation?
A shopper on Jun 10, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Hi, you can move it. but you will need to get some new 16mm concrete bolts to use. If you have place the all bearing in the top of the allen holes these can be drilled out with care.
Does it come with a chain?
