works in a pinch The good: Top fits easily under my Signet-Q without much skull crush The front/neck is a bit thicker and works to about the middle 30'sF Scrunches down enough to fit into my jacket pockets Not so good: Neck is rather short and fiddly to tuck into my jacket collar The vision opening is more round and has almost no perepheral view. If I needed to wear it more often, I'd get something with a wider oval opening, but this onel works in a pinch. March 4, 2013
Good Product for a Good Price I bought this item back in November at the beginning of the winter season. It protects your neck very well and keeps your head warm under the helmet. I would recommend this. February 18, 2013
Works Good I used this last night here in Clarksville, TN with a Shoei RF1100 when it was about 15 degrees out. I had it pulled up over my nose. Obviously, you'll have fogging issues when stopped. It's too easy to flip open the face shield. It kept my face warm to a "slight chill". The fleece liner is great. It's where it stops is the issue. I'd recommend this product for about the mid 30's and and warmer. I'd suggest the $35 option, although I haven't tried that one. February 2, 2013
Very Restricted Vision The balaclava seems very well made and does the job of keeping my face and neck warm in sub-zero windchill. The problem is that the opening in the front is so narrow it completely cuts off any peripheral vision. I can't just glance over my shoulder - I've got to physically turn my whole body to look behind me. It's gotten to the point where I'm actually nervous in traffic when wearing it and splitting lanes is out of the question. But then maybe I've just got ridiculously wide-set eyes. January 24, 2013
Great Product & Value A very reasonable price for a well conceived and manufactured balaclava. At this price I'm honestly surprised by it's fit, comfort, and wind stopping ability. The use and placement of the two (effective) materials is ideal while not adversely effecting helmet fit. When not wearing it'll always be in my bag. December 25, 2012

Warm and fresh where you need it. This is just what I expected: I was looking for keeping my neck and chin warm, protecting my helmet from swet, keeping it well placed when putting on the helmet and not feeling hot and itchy on my hair. December 11, 2012
