Schott NYC makes the original, real-deal, classic motorcycle jacket. Irving and Jack Schott originated their business in the Lower East Side of Manhattan in 1913; producing super-premium, American-made jackets remains a Schott family tradition over a century later. The list of Schott milestones is as long as the company's history. In 1925 Schott was the first to put a zipper on a jacket and in 1928 the institution known as the Perfecto jacket was born. Like any true classic, the Perfecto style never fades. Schott jackets have seen more action than most of us will in our lifetimes, from the skies over WWII-ravaged Europe to the swagger of James Dean and Marlon Brando, then back to the Lower East Side in the 1970's when punk was king. Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a damn fine American-made legend.
