Well padded inside It is a very comfortable helmet. Looks a bit bulky compared to some other models. Great deal for this price. It would've been nice if it came with small visor like some other models that would allow you to remove the translucent shield and install the small visor during summer months. April 30, 2013
It finally worked!!! I have had a rough time finding a helmet that fits and this one hit it on the mark. Feels good, not tight not loose, just snug. I may even buy the wife one so she can cruise with me on my Vulcan Classic. The price was the cheapest I found. Thank Revzilla!!! January 18, 2013

Great for the price This helmet is great for what I wanted... which was a light weight open face for riding my CB125 around town. Wouldn't recommend this for larger bikes, but would make a great passenger helmet. August 31, 2012
Can't beat this helmet in price range Secure, comfortable fit. Good price point for this type of helmet. Cannot rate accurately for protection and durability. Hope I don't have to find out about protection and haven't had it long enough to determine durability. August 6, 2012
great helmet since all of my helmets are full face, I wanted to try an open face for the summer here in Georgia. I got the matte black color and added the dark smoke visor and it works great! I can even take the helmet off and on without taking my glasses off, which is a huge plus for me. the wind noise isn't enough to bother me and it is very comfortable. the only thing is that it does seem to run a little large. I am very happy with it. July 9, 2012
Great 3/4 helmet This is a very nice and comfortable helmet. I forget its on because its so comfortable.I have a big head 8 1/4 hat size this 3x fits perfect! The face shield is very clear sometimes I forget its down.! There is a slight whistling noise when up all the way but only at slower speeds. The two vents work well and really well at speeds of 45 + I can feel the air flow over the top of my head. If you have a big head like me or want an inexpensive 3/4 helmet, get this one. I'm actually going to order another one to have in the future because its hard to find helmets for myself. May 14, 2012

I would like to know if you would recommend I get the Medium or Large size helmet as my head measurement is around 58 -59 cm which is right on the upper limit for the medium size. Im thinking maybe the Large would be better but I don't want it to be too loose...

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements. Z1R sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

To Measure Sleeve:

1. Relax arm at side
2. Begin at neck bone
3. Measure over shoulder and elbow point
4. Finish at wrist bone

To Measure Chest:

1. Measure total circumference of chest at largest point.
2. Under armpit / across breast with arms relaxed
3. Keep tape parallel with floor

To Measure Bust

1. Total measure of bust at largest point
2. Measure under armpit across breasts at largest point
3. Keep tape measure parallel with floor
