Yoshimura TRC Slip-On Exhaust Yamaha FZ1 2006-2012

The TRC is second to none! It's a race-proven exhaust featuring a tri-oval design, trick cone-shaped end-cap, and an easily removable low-volume insert. The TRC boasts 304-L stainless steel and MIG-welded construction with a straight baffle leading to that distinct cone-shaped end-cap.

This Slip-On System features the TRC muffler, stainless steel tail-pipe, step-by-step instructions, and all necessary hardware for installation.

Great sound, light weight, and looks great! Replaced the OEM muffler with this slip on, and lost about 20 lbs of dead weight. I think the shipping weight on the TRC is only 8 lbs! The exhaust tone is great, although it is a bit on the louder side. I put the silencer baffle in later, and it quieted it down slightly, but it still has the great tone. I would strongly recommend putting the baffle in before putting the pipe on the bike. The set screw can be really tricky to get in there!Installation took about 10 minutes after pulling the old pipe off. The carbon fiber finish is great. the fit of the parts is top-notch. Worth it and no law enforcement issues. Very easy to install. When I started my bike up for the first time minus the DB silencer it was loud. So I put it on and it's just right. I've had it on for two years now and nothing has changed as far as performance or looks. I like it! April 19, 2013
