I was curious if this is a full exhaust system? I currently have a two brothers slip on and I was thinking about changing it. My buddy just got a yoshimura slip on and it sounds great compared to my two brothers. I'm thinking of changing it out but wonder if I should do a slip on or if I should spend the money for the full kit. His bike is a 2014 r1 and mines a 2006 cbr 1000.

BEST ANSWER: Your friend's R1 has a crossplane engine, which is what gives it that amazing sound, yours doesn't. You also don't have a catalytic converter on your bike so your exhaust is already free flowing (granted you removed the electronic exhaust valve already) so you won't really notice much sound difference (if at all) with a full exhaust.
Do you know the DB rating running the full system running a baffle with no CAT?

Assuming of course the exhaust allows for Baffle system.
