The RS-3 is synonymous with the Yoshimura name. A member of our product line for years, it has proven itself as one of our signature exhaust systems. With its oval sleeve design available in stainless steel, titanium, or carbon fiber.
This easily installed slip on system includes a stainless steel mid-pipe, and will give your bike the performance, sound, and looks you crave.
NOTE: This exhaust is CARB compliant. Please check local laws before purchasing. Some modifications may be prohibited in some states.
I was in the market for a new exhaust and I wanted Carbon Fiber. Came across the Yoshi RS-3 and for the price it was at, I was sold. Once I receiving the exhaust, it was just amazing. Nothing about this exhaust feels cheap in anyway, it was very solid. Installing it was easy and painless, took about 10 mins. It also came with and extra tube that you can mount into the exhaust tip to reduce some dB's for a quitter note. I couldn't tell the different but its there for you. Overall I'm very pleased with the exhaust. It has a nice tone to it when riding and it not to quite or to loud. It's just right for me.

Great replacement muffler
My new-to-me 2007 r6s didn't have a muffler on it and was screaming loud above 4k rpm. I priced out an OEM replacement and wasn't shocked with what I found. I decided to go the slip on route and looked for the cheapest option to quiet her down.
The RS3 installed in 30 minutes because I didn't have a factory muffler to remove. I didn't use the rivet and simply clamped the slip on in place. I woke up a hour early, had a cup of coffee, installed the RS3 and rode to work. I wore gloves and used windex to clean the pipe before starting and didn't find any 'burned in' markings like they warn about.
Surprisingly, it sounds like a slightly quieter version of the open header bike. It isn't loud to the point that I need to install the silencer tube, but it isn't quite either. It gives a nice quiet burble if you are putting around under the radar but really wakes the neighbors in the upper reaches of the tach.
I can't say if it is worth the upgrade from a stock muffler, but if you need a replacement, I am happy with the route I took.
