Woodcraft Gen III Dual Temp Tire Warmers

Woodcraft went back to the drawing board for the Woodcraft Gen III Tire Warmers, completely redesigning many of the components and features. The result is possibly the best dual-temp warmers on the market.

The design of the two setting switch is the direct result of customer feedback and features a recessed switch surrounded by a tough plastic housing. The durable thermostats hold tighter temperature ranges and assure a perfect heat cycle every time. An easy-to-read LED indicator light displays red when on and turns green when tires reach the set temperature. The heating elements themselves are tightly positioned together ensuring the whole tire is heated evenly, virtually eliminating cold spots.

The special insulation used in the Woodcraft Gen III Tire Warmers is extremely efficient, allowing the thinnest possible construction while still providing great performance. This low profile design makes installation and removal of the warmers hassle-free. The fleece side curtains eliminate the #1 cause of heat loss by protecting the tire and wheel from crosswinds. Many riders reported up to a 15 degree increase in wheel temperature over comparable warmers without side curtains.

Features:

  • Select from warm (130-140F) or hot (170-180F) setting
  • Durable thermostats hold tighter temperature ranges
  • Double-stitched Nomex seams
  • Tightly spaced heating elements
  • Fleece side curtains
  • Quick disconnect cord
  • Large one piece VELCRO® brand closure strap secures the warmer to the tire
  • LED indicator light
  • Includes easy to carry duffle bag

Note: Woodcraft tire warmers fit a wide range of tire sizes. The front warmer will fit widths from 110-125, and the rear warmer works on sizes from 160-200.

Great set of tire warmers
I bought the Woodcraft Gen III dual temp tire warmers, not wanting to break the bank but still wanted quality warmers. These are just that. They are good quality for the price. Very easy to put on and take off. The lights tell you when its on and working, warming up, and when they've reached the set temperature. They have a warm and a hot setting depending on your needs. It's nice and reassuring to be able to take the warmers off and be able to jump straight on the track with hot tires ready to go. No more warm up laps! These fit my tires perfectly, the construction and quality is top notch, and they are made in the USA. I would definitely recommend these, I have no complaints at all.

Quality Made in the USA!
If your in the market for a quality tire warmer, that has the latest features, this is the one! Side flaps, keep the tirs warm in winds, stitched not glued heating elements, and a saftey connection that keeps the bone head in you from leaving them on and burning them out when your out on the track!

Redesigned switches, and comes with a nice travel bag.

Best of all, made in the USA! Woodcraft says it all!

it does the job
The switches could be alittle tougher but I haven't had any problems with my set after one racing season and some track days.

Love the disconnect plug
These are a little fiddly to get fitted, since you need to adjust to velcro a bit putting them on, but this applies to all warmers.

The disconnect plug is a great idea, you don't need to take them off, then go and disconnect them, which saves a few seconds and effort when you are already leathered up and ready to go out.

Finish and quality of material is excellent.

Hot/warm feature & no risk of burning them by forgetting to unplug
I really like how you unplug them by default when removing them from the tire so you don't risk to burn them by forgetting to switch them off when you're in a rush to get out on the track. The two temperature (hot/warm) setting is great for cool down, rainy days, and super hot days. Also, the side flank cover is great to keep the whole tire/rim hot on those windy days. The only thing I criticize is the velcro on those side covers - it doesn't hold together well especially on the front tire, and I'd prefer a clip or similar.

Great tire warmers. Use them during track days to keep my tires warm between session. Use "hot" inbetween back to back sessions and use the "warm setting during lunch or if my back is sitting outside (Hot is too hot in direct sunlight during the summer in the south). Made in the USA is a plus to these fantastic warmers. Highly recommended!
