Woodcraft Solo Operation Front Stand

All stands are the same right? Not exactly. Woodcraft interviewed several mechanics and asked them what they felt are the most important features in a stand. The overwhelming responses were: low lift effort, clearance for working, and wheel design (for ease of rolling and stability). Woodcraft took this feedback to their drawing board and incorporated them into their full-range of Woodcraft Race Stands. Take a look around the pits at an AMA event or your local club race and chances are the majority of the bikes are supported by a Woodcraft Race Stand.

Almost perfect I totally recommend this product, but remember to order your bike specific pin. Because it does not come with one. The only slightly negative issue with the stand is that the pin tolerance is so tight that removing the stand is rather awkward and difficult. August 27, 2015
Great quality Very nice finish, sturdy, and easy to use. Great stand for the money. March 26, 2015
High-Performance Stand I was a little nervous using a stand like this for the first time. However, I know the Woodcraft name, and know I should expect nothing but quality and performance. It took a minute to figure out how to use the stand, but the instructions made sense once I was actually trying to lift the bike. Very sturdy stand, even when wrenching sans-gentle. Stand came assembled and ready to rock out of the box, which is exactly what I did. Even the pin I purchased in conjunction was already in place. March 23, 2015
Great product This is the first head stand I've purchased. I highly recommend this stand, works great, good look, finish and quality . March 2, 2015
Very easy to use I bought this front stand to use on my Honda CBR1000RR. I had tried using a Pit Bull front hybrid stand but it didn't work well with my bike. The Woodcraft stand worked perfectly and is easy to install and remove without scratching the any parts of the bike. I purchased the 23mm to go with it as their chart specified and it is a perfect fit. November 3, 2014
Excellent Product It is one of the best items in my track trailer - to be able to swivel the front end and keep it elevated for tire warmers and maintenance is easy and very useful. Thanks. August 26, 2014
Great, but could use more safety features I get paranoid when my bike is off it's wheels. This stand uses tension screws to hold the sliding top peice stable. While this makes it higly adjustable, it comes at the cost of saftey. Over tighten the screws and you'll dent the pipes, under tighten and the stand may slide down while you're working. I don't think it's dangerous, but pins would be a much more stable solution. Also, there is no locking mechanism for the pivots. Make sure to adjust the stand such that it can't rotate back easily. Build quality and finish are phenominal November 18, 2013
Very durable and good quality The pin for the ducati 848 works seamlessly and very good quality August 5, 2013

Jason C: Yes it will work on a 2005 R6 as long as they buy the correct size pin to go with it. I'm not sure what size pin is required on that bike. They'll need to measure the hole at the bottom of the steering head. Nov 22, 2013
