The complete rearset kit consists of the rearset plates, footpegs, 3 piece pedals and all of the needed hardware to install the kit properly. They are made from tough, aircraft grade 6061 T6 Aluminum. They are much stronger than OEM brackets and will give your bike a look that will separate you from the crowd. Each kit is individually designed for each model of motorcycle to give you the optimum foot position and ground clearance for racing. These kits allow you to eliminate the entire kickstand boss assembly as the shift pedal is converted to a conventional peg mounted unit. This provides for more positive shifting feel and the ability to easily choose either standard or GP shift. In the event that you need replacement parts, any individual piece of this kit is available.
2005 cbr1000rr More rigid and durable than vortex

Ordered these bad boys Sunday afternoon and had them installed by Wednesday evening. Revzilla has THE best processing and shipping time, period. Much love.
This is a 3-4 beeer[d] job for the 2005 CBR1000RR fireblade. I'm fairly certain there is no way one could install these standard shift, so only buy them only if you're interested in going GP shift. The clutch fluid area seems to block the shift rod in standard shift.
My steed is track only so the brake light switch was UNNECESSARY. For all you folks who like riding race machines on the interstate, I'm sorry, this upgrade will require a switch be spliced into your harness. For track riders, no need to buy the switch since brake lights don't matter on the track.
The pegs are definitely higher and further back, which is awesome for the track. They're also rigid and provide more direct feedback from the chassis. When shifting my (beer laden) body around on the bike during track days, I really noticed how BAD the stockers are. Makes life hard if your using the machine for its purpose. Also the adjustability offered by the vortex sets is more geared towards street riders who want comfort as opposed to track riders who need clearance. Dragging toes is no bueno. Also the vortex sets crash badly(had them on my sv650s and the shifter was überjiggly) and are less rigid due to more connections between your foot and the frame.
The footpegs have drill outs for snapping off in the event of an off. You'll be left with a nub to finish out your session.
Woodcraft expertly packages these finely machined aluminum rearsets and they look gorgeous, pic related.

Great Fit, Easy to Install
It was easy to install this rearset. The position is good for the track and I like the versatility of standard to GP shifting.
I also like that I can purchase replacement parts instead of an entire new set.
