Woodcraft Clip On Bars

Woodcraft 2 piece split clipons are specially designed to make installation and removal a snap. The 2 piece design is race-proven and makes it easy to service your clipons below the triple clamp, without having do dis-assemble the entire front end. Special attention has also been taken to save weight wherever possible.

For these smaller sizes like this Woodcraft includes custom shells that fit securely inside a set of 35mm clipons.

The bars are 12" long and are easily adjusted to whatever custom width you desire.

For fitment information please consult Woodcraft's Clip-On Sizing Chart.

Note: Please consult the Woodcraft Clip-On Application Guide before ordering.

Highly versatile.
Purchased these to replace a broken clip-on. The hardest part of the installation was removing the stock equipment, but the product itself was the easiest part to installation. It has an amazing amount of adjustability, and the finish and quality are second to none. I'm glad it is easily accessible in case of another lowside.

Simplified clip-on installation
As always with Woodcraft, the quality of the product is first class. I wanted two piece clamps to allow installation and service without removal of the fork legs. My steering damper mounts to the fork just above the bottom clamp. It is a pain to install and adjust. Just the ticket for the initial install and one less thing to deal with when the forks require removal.

Phenomenal clip on bars. Not the cheapest, but highly recommended.
Great bars. The three piece design makes it so you don't have to pull your top triple tree and if you damage the bars, you don't have to replace the whole assembly. I have them on two different bikes and will continue to purchase them for any future clip-on installs.

hey. anyone had any luck removing the rounded end to insert bar-end mirrors? i don't want to mangle the plastic. cheers
lisa m on Jul 4, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi Lisa, those bar ends can be tricky to remove. If you're lucky they will come off with a simple screw driver, but if not you'll need a torque wrench for sure. It'll make quick work of the bar end and make install your mirrors a breeze, Hope this answers your question.
Will these give me the same riding position as stock? If not, is there one there another version which would do so?
A S on May 13, 2014
BEST ANSWER: They may very well give you the same riding position as stock; however, the great thing about the Woodcraft clip-ons is their near infinite adjustability. Most stock clip-ons are not designed with any adjustability and therefore as a rider you are stuck with what the manufacturer deemed as the "best compromise" for a wide range of riders. If you want the Woodcraft clip-ons in the same position as the stockers, you can do that. But take my advice, and play with the adjustability a little bit, until you find that perfect riding setup for you. It will increase your comfort and control and will allow you to focus on other aspects of your riding.
How much fork tube do these clamp onto? If I have 1 1/2" of fork tube sticking out ontop of my triple clamps could I mount these ontop or do I have to mount them under my triple clamps?
A shopper on Nov 25, 2013
BEST ANSWER: You should be fine with that amount above but be aware, you are going to have less clearance when your front forks are under load if you place them above the triple. It depends on the bike though and if the bike already has handlebars above the tree. My GS500 doesn't and my clip-ons are below the tree.
I'm interested in there's bars. I see it says 2 piece.. Do these also have removable 12in bars?
A shopper on Feb 10, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Everything can be replaced with the Woodcraft clip ons. They sell replacement bars. I'm not sure how long they are though.
can you take off the plastic end and put on a different bar ends without ruin the handle bars? And if you can take off the plastic end how? because my is stuck in there really good. Helps
A shopper on Jul 29, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I removed mine with pliers I think. I may have drilled into, then pulled them out. I used the woodcraft weighted bar ends, but I'm sure any bar end designed for the same size bar that you're using will fit just fine. Most of them use an expansion type fitting, so if you purchase a different brands bar end designed for a 33mm bar, and your bars are 33mm, they should be good to go.
I dont see the 41mm, 1" bar optinon, for my Thruxton... Where can i find it?
Vicente N on Oct 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Did you do a search for the 1 inch bar option. If not you might want to try that or get a hold of vortex themselves and ask if they make a set of clip bonds for a 1 inch bar
Hi, I have a 1985 r80rt bmw. the fork I believe is 38.5mm, but this is 38mm. Would I be able to buy this and make it work ok?
A shopper on Aug 4, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I think you'd need to hone them down. Not ideal. I don't think jamming them on as is would work. 38.5 is an odd diameter so you'll probably struggle to find something off the shelf.
Hi, just wondering if the bars are all the same length? I have some already on a GSXR 1000 K8 and one is bent. So I only need to replace the bar for that left side.

Could you please let me know and if possible The total price including shipping to Sydney, Australia.

Cheers.
A shopper on Aug 4, 2014
BEST ANSWER: As long as you're not using the extra long bars, they're all the same length.
Woodcraft makes these clip-ons in 39mm however I don't see that as a selectable option.

Are you able to get 39mm?

Thanks,
S
A shopper on Jul 12, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I'd check the woodcraft website to see if that size exists. Google.
I want to put these on my Ninja 300. What is the difference between these and the ones with the riser? Will these be right at the top of the forks giving me a better stretch forward? Also can I put bar ends on these because I have some really nice limited edition driven bar ends I want to put on when I switch em. Thanks
A shopper on Dec 6, 2013
BEST ANSWER: the bar ends should work fine. I do not know from experience but I believe the risers will make it so you can adjust your bar height even higher than possible with factory clip ons or similar ones. These will clamp on to your forks where the diameter is applicable (48 mm outer diameter forks will work with 48 mm clip-ons). You will need about 2 inches (taking a guess at the length here without actually look at mine) of length on the fork to clamp on so if you don't have that much of your fork come out beyond your triple clamp (which I doubt it but I don't know the ninjas very well) then these wont actually be at the top of the forks but close.
