Nice looking spools for my Triumph Street Triple R
I purchased the red ones for my 2013 Triumph Street Triple R and they are great

**BUT**

You're going to want to purchase the Woodcraft Spool Spaces (Part number 773765) for another few bucks because these do not stick out far enough and the rear stand will make contact with the swingarm. Once I put the spaces on, the spools work great and add some nice bling to the bike.

Can't beat the price or how fast shipping was!
Quality was great. Fitment and finish is perfect. Easy to instal. Takes longer to open the box then to install lol. Super fast shipping and great price. Only thing I would recommend to anyone buying these would be to use a spool stand that either has some sort of soft material where the stand contacts the spools to avoid scuffing the anodized finish. I used ekectric al tape you wrap mine and now the stand will not screw up the finish.

Nice spools
I chose these spools because they are smaller than others and blend in to the swing arm better.

It's simple to Install
If you are looking for fashion on a spool...don't read my review. This is perfect for what is needed, lifting your bike and getting work done. Not cheap material and screws right in.

Simple Product
They are swingarm spools so what can ya say? I got the regular aluminum, non-colored spools. They work just fine. Comes with bolts and fits on the application (SV650). Durability rated as good as I have no idea so it is assumed.

Works exactly as advertised
I'm a big supporter of Vortex products and these spools did not disappoint. They are metal, not plastic, and should hold up to the rigors well. My only gripe with them is that since they're metal and the stand is usually metal, the spools can become scratched. It's on the under side of the spool and it's not super noticeable. Putting your bike on a stand for winter storage is almost a necessity and since the vast majority (if not all?) current bikes have threads for them, it's dumb not to purchase these.

As always, RevZilla is above and beyond the price and customer service of other outlets. Ordered and two days later it was on my doorstep.

What thread size fits a 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 650?
Thomas W on Jul 10, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The Revzilla team has available threads for all kinds. When I ordered it for my Honda, they sent me by mistake the Kawasaki thread. When I claimed the right one, they sent it to me immediately and free of charge of course, letting me keep the old one which I gifted to a friend with an ER-6. Bottom line is: make sure you inform them in your communication to avoid any delays, although my experience with the guys, show me that mistakes are really rare.
What size would I need for an 09 Yammi R6?
A C on Dec 29, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Usually most Japanese bikes use an 8mm I would try that size
Will this fit my Honda CBR500r ? it is a 2014.
A shopper on Sep 27, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I would want to say yes. Most of the bikes i've come across are all the same thread pitch for the spools.
what size will fit my 2014 sfv 650 gladius?
michael C on Oct 26, 2014
BEST ANSWER: 8mm
hi i tried finding out what spools size the cbr500ra 2014 needed but i didn't find my answer.
Does anyone know ?
A shopper on Apr 18, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Double check that your bike actually has mounts for swing arm spools. I have two friends with CBR500s (2013) and their bikes don't have mounts. If you don't have mounts (which I don't think you will), look up "chain sdjuster/rear stand bobbin" for your bike
Looking to fit a pair to my 2016 690 Duke. It appears that the KTM uses a more coarse internal thread. Anyone familiar with this? The 10mm pair I bought from Vortex don't work.
