Stores co2. Got a nail in my rear tyre, after patching it up i used this, maybe I'm not using it right or something, but it doesn't go over 30psi for me, only hear the co2 go in the tyre the first few seconds then nothing. the co2 still had air in it though (with the first canister 2nd canister doesn't make a difference). only upside is if you don't use up the co2 it can be stored until next time, because there is a trigger lock. I've used this about 4 times now. At least i could ride my bike to the nearest petrol station to fill the tyres up. February 14, 2013

Great product-would recommend! Great product-would recommend. I have a Vulcan 750 and there is very little clearance between the valve stem and the hub on the rear wheel (drum brake) and I was concerned about fitment. The inflator fits (barely!) with just a little effort. A side note: The inflator has a hole in the bottom section to allow the CO2 cartridge (both non-threaded and threaded) to be inverted and stored in the inflator. Just use caution to protect the tip during storage to avoid premature inflatation! Happy and safe riding! June 1, 2012

Excellent inflator The trigger control on this inflator coupled with the trigger lock and screw on valve chuck makes this unit put the co2 where it belongs. The trigger allows you to expel exactly the amount of co2 you want - complete control from a very small trickle to a blast. May 17, 2011

Answer: 
Yes, you can use any of the threaded or non-threaded CO2 canisters with the Ultraflate as it will accept both types of canisters. However, the non-threaded canisters can be no larger than 12g. The non-threaded canisters must use the lower body of the inflator to break the seal on the canister and and safely contain the canister since it does not have threads to hold it on. The lower body will hold some thinner 16g canister but not all, due to varying thickness of the canisters.

Answer: 
The "Revzilla Expert" is mostly correct-except for when he says, (sic) "of the non-threaded type, the max size is 12 gram". Well, the inflator comes with a non-threaded 16 gram cartridge-and it fits!

I bought the inflator and the MSR threaded 16 gram refills on this site and GOOD NEWS!, yes, they fit this inflator. Hope this helps someone. Happy and safe riding!
