Two Brothers M-5 VALE Slip-On Exhausts Honda CBR600RR

Each Two Brothers Racing M2 Slip-On features the same high level of quality construction and is designed to be fully-serviceable in the event of damage, routine maintenance or the occasional repack. All TBR’s M series slip-on exhaust systems feature the innovative V.A.L.E. system with CNC'ed aluminum inlets. The V.A.L.E. system is TBR's revolutionary, patented method of attaching the muffler canisters to the mid-pipe without the use of springs or welding. This system allows the muffler assembly - exhaust mid-pipe and canister - to be positioned perfectly on the bike before all the mounting hardware is fully tightened. Once the canister and mid-pipe are properly aligned, the V.A.L.E. assembly locks the muffler canister to the mid-pipe assuring a perfect, leak-free connection.

Two Brothers' mid-pipes are manufactured from .035" thick stainless steel and feature a polished satin finish. They exclusively use 304 stainless steel for its high rust resistance. After a few heat cycles the 304 steel turns a golden amber color, which is the signature of high quality stainless steel. The exhaust note produced by all of Two Bros exhaust systems is best described as being deep and throaty, without suffering from the shrill whine normally associated with other manufacturer's straight through muffler canisters. But this bark would be pointless without a bad bite, so no matter which great sounding TBR’s exhaust you choose they will all reduce weight and deliver additional horsepower and torque.

As the government aka “The Man” pushes for greater emission restrictions, motorcycle manufacturers are forced to make their exhausts heavier and more restrictive. Two Brothers Racing has given the motorcycle community the means to stick it to the man with the M Series Slip-On Exhaust.

Great product, great sound, and great look! I purchased the m-5 black series exhaust, and I am very pleased with it. It was slightly difficult to install but mainly due to the bike not the exhaust. Had to take off the right side footprg and rear brake set up, all the heat shields ofcourse and unfortunately the rear fairing which I always have a hard time getting back on. But like I said that's the bikes problem. For the exhaust the only problem I had was you have to connect the muffuletta to the pipe, then tighten after its attached but it was just hard to reach the holts to tighten it , and hard to make sure the muffuletta was straight and even. But once finished it works, sounds amazing! And on my 03' cbr600 it increased the overall sound by atleast double, so much louder. I love it April 10, 2015
03 Honda CBR 600RR I purchased this slip-on exhaust for my 03 Honda CBR 600rr and Man; Do I love it . Its a huge and noticable upgrade from the ugly, quiet, (if you buy this exhaust you will see)heavy stock exhaust. Though I am mechanically inclined and have worked on plenty of cars in the past I found the install quit simple. Another product review did point out that the two brothers exhaust piping DOES NOT have the heat shield mounting brackets welded to they're piping. My plan was to leave the heat shield off anyways (can see more of the exhaust piping that way) so this issues wasnt really a problem. But if you want to retain the heat shield you may have to remove the old ones and weld to the new piping. This is the only reason I rated it as "good" and not "excellent" in "ease of install". The exhaust sounds amazing. The carbon fiber black series muffler looks as good as it sounds. I took it out for a test ride around the block a few times, It did seem a bit faster. Seemed to accelerate quicker. February 20, 2015
overall great, but with a major set back first off this exhaust sounds AMAZING!!!! the youtube videos dont do it justice at all. it looks great and compared to the stock its light as a feather. now on to the the reason i gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. they say the pipe is specifically for the 03-04 600rr well....... theres no brackes on the new pipe!!. first is where the heat shield mounts to the stock exhaust can on the new can there is no mounting. i drilled up through the bottom of the seat cowl and put a few bolts in, and it worked fine. next where the stock pipe mounts near the passenger foot peg there is no bracket and cutting the old one off doesnt work since the new pipe is miles away from where the stock pipe was sitting. it seems pretty stable without it though. lastly theres no tabs to mount the heat shield on the S pipe. it cost me an aditional 60$ in shop time to have someone remove the tabs from the stock exhaust and TIG weld them on to the new pipe. its an awesome pipe, but it would be nice if they mention all the extra work that will be required to mount it properly.
