Two Brothers M-2 VALE Slip-On Exhaust Kawasaki ZX6R

Slip-On exhaust systems replace your existing “s-bend” pipe and exhaust canister. Two Brothers' s-bends are manufactured from .035" thin wall stainless steel. They then polish them to a satin finish. Two Brothers' uses only #304 stainless which will never rust.

After a few heat cycles the steel turns a golden amber color which is the characteristic signature of high quality stainless steel.

These systems not only add horsepower but also can drop significant weight from your bike. This type of canister can be mounted in the original canister position or in a “high” mounted canister position depending on the bike.

The entire line of TBR M Series canisters feature the same high level of quality construction and are designed to be fully serviceable in the event of damage, routine maintenance or the occasional repack. Two Brothers Racing's V.A.L.E.™ slip-on exhaust systems and flange-on systems feature CNC'ed aluminum inlets. These special designs provide for ease of maintenance as well as simplified construction, which is what a premium performance product is all about! The exhaust note produced by all of their Top Level™ exhaust systems is best described as being deep and throaty without suffering from the shrill whine normally associated with other manufacturer's straight through muffler canisters.

V.A.L.E. = Variable Axis Locking Exhaust. The V.A.L.E.™ system is TBR's revolutionary and patented method of attaching their muffler canisters to the exhaust tube without the use of springs or welding. Their V.A.L.E. systems allow the muffler assembly - exhaust tube and canister - to be positioned perfectly on the bike before all the mounting hardware is fully tightened. Once the canister and exhaust tubes are properly aligned, the V.A.L.E. assembly locks the muffler canister to the exhaust tube assuring a perfect, leak-free fit.

NOTE: This exhaust is CARB compliant. Includes fender eliminator kit. Please check local laws before purchasing. Some modifications may be prohibited in some states.

I recommend it to everyone! Easy installation, great quality , very beautiful, and the sound is super sporty. September 8, 2015
Good product This slip on is LOUD but it sounds good and looks good. The instal was easy enough but the instructions could be a little more clear/contain more info. Also if you're ordering this and you have not ordered a fender eliminator kit. Don't order a fender eliminator kit as this slip on comes with one. July 6, 2015
Way the heck louder than I thought it'd be Sounds great, noticeable drop in weight. I can feel a slight difference under heavy acceleration right beneath the powerband. This pipe is substantially louder than I anticipated. I fired it up in my apartment complex parking lot at 10 PM when I had just finished the install and was immediately embarrassed by the volume and had to shut it off. I installed the silencer on it that night. Sounds beautiful, very deep and aggressive tone; you'll probably need to start wearing earplugs if you don't already. The install took me a couple hours, and while my 09 zx6r is almost entirely to blame(the fairings are almost impossible to remove), I have to say that the instructions were almost completely useless: blurry photos that don't match the step you're on. Great sounding/looking exhaust for the cost Overall I'm happy with this exhaust. I installed on a 2011 zx6r. It is pretty loud but not as insane as some others I've heard. I rode my bike for a few days and decided to order the P1X insert to tone it back a bit. I like to use my ear buds for music while riding a lot. First off the look. It looks so much better on my bike compared to the stock exhaust. I really like being able to see more of the wheel. I've seen a lot worse stock exhausts than my 2011 zx6r but still a big improvement. Now for the sound. It is nice and loud but also surprisingly deep. I looked through just about every exhaust for my bike I think and I was really worried about ordering one and just not liking it. For me it was down to the Werkes pipe, this one, and the Muzzy. Here is one thing I really like about two brothers over the other 2. If you go to two brother's website and you pull up their exhausts they actually have a table that shows the Db levels at 5k rpms. They also have the inserts listed in there as well. That gave me a lot more confidence in this pipe and the inserts available. After a few days of riding it I decided to go with the P1X insert so I could still listen to music and I'm sure on longer rides the standard sound might have been a bit much. Due to the information two brothers provides on the website I knew it would make a big difference and it really does. Performance is interesting on a mid pipe/muffler like this. It's not a full race tuned exhaust. I will say the biggest difference I've noticed is losing about 15lbs from taking off the old muffler and the stock cats. I'm sure there were a couple of hp gained but from riding the bike I can feel the weight difference. I also notice better throttle response. This could be due to how everything works on the 2011 zx6r though. It has a valve that turns inside the stock muffler that opens it up. Obviously that's not there anymore. Combine that with a couple horse power and just the fact that it is more open and that's probably why. Not a huge difference but it is a slight difference. If you're too concerned about sound to purchase this pipe I recommend visiting two brother's site and checking out the information for your bike. As I said the charts that show the sound levels at 5k rpms gave me the confidence that I could go with this exhaust and change it to what I wanted with one of the 2 inserts available. The build quality is fantastic, the instructions aren't too bad, and had I not already had a fender eliminator on my bike this would have been a much better value. The good news is a friend of mine can use it so it didn't go to waste at least. October 14, 2013
