Good for shorter riders
Bought an XS which was described as women's size 6 - 8. The pants are more of a size 6, short length. With the insulation in, the pants are definitely a size 6. I'm short in height (5'3") and without shoes on, these pants stop right near my heel.
Overall, I like the number of layers and pockets on these pants and the protection feels to be in all the right places.

Lots of versatility; good price; a bit bulky looking in the hips
I bought these pants because I need good warm weather pants for an overland trip. At first I bought the xs, but they were way too tight and short (I'm 5'6", 125lbs, with proportionally long legs). I exchanged them for the small, which fit much better. They do look a bit bulky and the butt hangs a bit loose, both with and without the insulation/rain layer, but I needed the length in the small. I like the versatility: I need breathable for this overland trip, but I live in a cold place and can use the insulation for winter riding. Overall, a very versatile pant given the insulation/rain layer.

Warm, protective, easy to customize
These are not the most stylish pants but they will keep you warm in 30 degrees on a windy day for a day long ride. There is velcro everywhere so you can expand and make tighter anywhere you need it. I have only worn with all liners intact so cannot comment on using in warm weather. I wear an 8 pant, bought small which fit perfect over long underwear but would not fit over jeans if that is what you wanted. Great buy, would buy again.

Great Value for the cost
The Pants fits my wife nicely. It is cool in the summer. The knee and hip pads feels very protective, hopefully will never need to find out how it works in real situation.
