great for 3 season riding
I bought this jacket with the notion of having a jean jacket to wear while riding in the spring / fall. I was surprised by the number of zippered vents available and the effectiveness at keeping me cool while moving even in the 95+ degree days of late. The Jacket is heavy, with the armor, but this helps give me a bit more reassurance of protection. I find the sheepskin collar a bit hokey, but may change my mind when the weather turns cold.
I had to use a butter knife to pry the snaps apart initially, and feared that they would pull out of the fabric in the process. Once apart, I just added a touch of wax to each snap, and now they work like a charm.
